Today's Tsaritsa styling for the convention took a lot of thought, from early accessory prep to the final Convention photos.

First, let's talk about the wig and headpiece. To match the design, I chose a light off-white long straight wig with a subtle pale yellow gradient at the tips. The most energy-consuming part was definitely the huge animal ear pair on top. The plush base is white with black gradient tips on the ears. The inner gold hollow patterns and ruby inlays were hand-glued piece by piece, giving them that metallic and gem-like reflective texture when turned under the light. A ruby gold-chain hair accessory was dotted right in the center of the forehead, and the part connecting to the hairline needed to be firmly secured with hairspray and a wig net, otherwise it would easily fall off after walking around the convention all day.

In terms of makeup, to highlight that cold, elegant, and oppressive aura, I specially chose light yellowish-brown contact lenses. Red totem marks were painted on the forehead and outer corners of the eyes, a black four-pointed star was drawn right below the neck, and body paint pigments were used for the large red flame mark on the chest, with gold outlining along the edges. The red-and-gold color scheme makes skin look exceptionally fair before the lens, and glossy lip glaze was applied to the lips to enhance the translucent feel. The false eyelashes were chosen in a dense style, which, combined with lower eyelashes to elongate the eye shape, maintained a great three-dimensional structure in close-up shots.

There are also quite a few costume details. The overall piece is a yellow-and-white dress with fabric carrying a slight satin texture. The black bow on the chest is embedded with rubies, and diamond-shaped accessories with gold borders dangle below it. The off-shoulder design is paired with sheer wide sleeves featuring purple and light blue tints, creating an ethereal flow when moving. The gold straps and tassels on the costume required micro-adjustments during wear to ensure they wouldn't get messy while shooting. Because the costume has a relatively high skin-exposure level, while walking around the convention venue, I paid special attention to anti-wardrobe-malfunction tape and the fit along the costume edges.

The convention venue was extremely crowded, and the mirror area in the backstage restroom was packed with cosplayers touching up makeup and styling. When I raised my phone for a selfie, I happened to capture a bit of overhead lighting hitting the collarbone and chest tattoo body paint, rendering the colors quite realistically. The second photo is a close-up, showing the details of the plush ears and gold hair accessories. While shooting, I slightly tucked my chin in, which better showcased the facial contours and the layered depth of the headpiece.

Walking around the venue all day in this outfit was indeed quite tiring, especially carrying the weighty animal ears, which made my neck and shoulders fairly sore. But being able to gather with so many friends who share a passion for ACG culture, exchanging shooting poses, prop making, and makeup insights was still deeply rewarding. The Convention photos this time were slightly color-graded to restore the true textures seen by the naked eye as much as possible, avoiding over-smoothing and preserving the original graininess of the makeup, hoping everyone can feel the details of this look.
