This time, I made an attempt to materialize the look of Xiaoka from Wuthering Waves, where the black-and-white layering and blue-and-white gradient ribbons on the costume design were the key points of recreation. To match the character's temperament, I put a lot of effort into selecting the overall color tones and materials. The fabric of this costume is exceptionally light and breathable, and that blue-and-white gradient cape presents a strong sense of fluidity when walking. Paired with a few golden vine patterns, it possesses an ethereal aura without appearing overly complicated.

Regarding the makeup, styling, and hairstyle this time, the long pale-blonde wig was a major challenge because it required styling the hair to achieve a lightweight and smooth airy feel, avoiding a heavy look. The elf ear accessories added appropriate embellishment, making the facial features look more three-dimensional, and the colored contacts chose a blue-gray tone to match the character's cool aloofness. Although out-of-character (OOC) apologies are mentioned in the post, during the shooting process, I tried my best to grasp the original character's light posture of motion within stillness and being untainted by dust. Especially with the barefoot setting, I experimented with standing extensions and single-leg lifts in these photo sets, hoping to convey that floating-off-the-ground elegance through body language under this Elf ear makeup look.

The studio environment on the day of the shoot was quite clean; the pure white background and high platform provided a massive display space for the styling. At the moment the shutter was pressed, aided by a fan, the direction of the flying hair and clothing edges greatly increased the tension of the frame. The single-leg tiptoe pose in the third picture required excellent balance. Although the platform wasn't large, the team members were right there beside me, brilliantly helping me adjust the details to find the center of gravity and the extension of the shoulder and neck lines. When shooting a character with flowing elements, the most interesting part is actually seeing the moment the scenery and hair strands freeze—the originally static look instantly comes alive during this session of Cosplay photography.

During this process, I also found that the materialization of 2D characters heavily relies on the cooperation of light, shadow, and angles; the exact same outfit yields entirely different effects in different environments. Thanks to the support team for this collaboration—everyone kept helping me fine-tune the costume fit and hairstyle details, making the final quality of the output close to the effect I desired. Since I personally love this kind of unique, ethereal setting, I worked hard to complete this set. Although there might be some personal interpretations in the styling, I hope to convey that serene sense of power through this ACGN sharing.
