[Nozomi Tachibana Cosplay] Stepping out in a different uniform in Blue Archive

The photo released this time is a set of Convention photos taken earlier at the Beijing anime expo, featuring Nozomi Tachibana Cosplay from the Railway Twins in Blue Archive. Just in time for the playable release of the twins in the mobile game, I decided to pull out this saved photo from my stash to celebrate. Before heading to the expo, I specially prepared this Railway uniform: a navy blue jacket with bright blue piping and gold buttons, paired with an inner white shirt and collar, giving the entire uniform a clean, tailored fit. The lower half features black shorts with white tights, creating a strong color contrast. The combination of navy blue, white, bright blue, and mint green creates a wonderfully clean visual balance. The dark cap on my head features a green trim band and a small gold badge embedded at the front; its silhouette leans slightly toward a visor cap, immediately bringing out the character's unique demeanor once put on. For the wig, I used light mint-green long hair with a smooth, fine-fiber material, where straight-cut bangs nicely framed my face and drew focus to my facial features.

During the shoot, I struck a double-knee kneeling pose on the floor—a position that's quite tricky to balance, as it requires staying low and stable while keeping the upper body upright. My right hand was raised naturally against the brim of the cap while my left hand flared slightly outward, paired with a playful tongue-out expression to capture her breezy, mischievous personality. For makeup, I intentionally deepened warm-toned blending around the eyes so that my gaze stood out vividly against the cool-toned outfit. The long black cable lying on the floor was brought along in my prop bag; originally meant to create dynamic dragging motion, space constraints meant lying it flat instead, which unexpectedly enhanced leading lines and guided visual flow downward.

The shoot took place amid heavy foot traffic, where prominent round ceiling lamps in the background and harsher lighting prompted us to lean into a cooler, dark-toned moody vibe. Opening up the aperture blurred the background lamps into soft circular bokeh, highlighting skin tone and white tights without distracting from the main subject. The biggest challenge in taking Convention photos is quickly discovering ideal angles and lighting amidst noisy crowds, relaxing one's physical stance, and stepping into character. The outfit itself offers great fit and quality texture without feeling loose, which is why I love this look so much—from the wig and collar to glove details, the overall style is remarkably cohesive. Combining railway elements with school uniforms creates an enduring, visually balanced design. With the twins officially playable now, releasing this satisfying shot serves as an authentic record of my journey embodying this character.
