[Anby Demara cosplay] Convention Photo — Battling While Munching on a Burger

I bought a burger and was walking around the expo hall chewing on it, planning to fill my stomach during break time, when the photographer suddenly grabbed me. He said it looked super natural from this angle and told me to take a few more bites, which resulted in that snapshot of me nibbling on the burger in the photo. Honestly, my mouth was still stuffed with bread and I was terrified of ruining my makeup, so I could only nibble gingerly while the photographer kept shouting beside me, "Your gaze! Make your eyes colder!" How on earth could I look cold while chewing food? In the end, I simply obliged by striking several combat stances.

This Anby Demara cosplay gear from Zenless Zone Zero was genuinely quite heavy—especially that serrated mechanical broadsword; lifting and lowering it over a dozen times left my arms completely sore. However, seeing the final photos—especially that low crouching pose where the leg lines and the neon green color-blocking of the outfit gave off strong sci-fi tech vibes—instantly made it feel completely worthwhile. This Convention photo was shot under the light near the glass curtain wall, where softbox light reflections shone brightly against the leather armor. In post-processing, we adjusted the contrast slightly, preserving much of the authentic on-site light and shadow in this Cosplay photography.

Even though everyone was eating and chatting around us, the moment you step before the lens you have to snap into character immediately—I guess that's the daily life of doing Anime convention cosplay. The costume details were crafted very well: the headphones could adjust, and the circular device on the arm was fixed independently so it didn't wobble too much while walking. After finishing this set, I rushed off to buy some water. All in all, it was a very fulfilling day, and bringing this character to life made me truly happy.
