[Gongsun Li Cosplay] Honor of Kings Jade Rabbit Princess — Exotic style Photoshoot Showcase

Preparing this Jade Rabbit Princess styling took nearly a month from initial makeup trials to the official photoshoot, and today the photos are finally organized and released. When I first saw this skin, I was completely captivated by its rich Western Regions flair and warm color palette—the orange-yellow primary tone paired with golden accessories and those iconic long rabbit ears delivers both the lively agility of Honor of Kings and an ethereal touch of mythological folklore.

For this shoot, we specifically chose a studio with an Exotic style setting, layered with geometric-patterned carpets and plush white fleece rugs. We also prepared a brass magic lamp and vintage lantern props, paired with expansive sweeps of yellow translucent chiffon drapes, which instantly elevated the overall ambiance. For lighting, the photographer used warm amber ambient lights alongside background point sources, letting floating golden bokeh fall gently across the drapes and hair—looking just like a genuine night within an ancient desert palace.

The costume was custom-tailored and modified. The off-the-shoulder neckline on top elegantly reveals the collarbones and shoulder lines, which, accented by stacked gold armbands and bracelets, caught flowing glints of light whenever I turned. The leaf-shaped belt at the waist and the tiered mini-skirt paired with split harem pants gave the outfit the flowing grace of dance wear while retaining the crisp sharpness of a combat hero. The golden anklets chimed softly as I moved barefoot across the soft fleece rugs, allowing me to stay completely relaxed throughout the shoot day.

The craftsmanship of the headpiece was particularly exquisite—those tall, erect silver rabbit ears embellished with rubies and pearls, combined with a deep crimson silk flower on the side, framed facial contours with extra delicacy. To capture the character's temperament, I tried several expressions during shooting: playful veil-lifting motions, gentle downward gazes, and elegant standing poses with folded hands. In particular, capturing the split second of lifting the golden translucent veil required a storytelling gaze without looking forced; it took dozens of shutter clicks to find the most natural expression for this Cosplay photography.

During retouching, we avoided excessive skin smoothing, preserving natural skin texture and makeup depth, slightly boosting the warm color temperature and bokeh brightness so the entire set stayed harmoniously warm. Spending four to five hours in the studio in this full gear, though the headpiece was somewhat heavy, seeing the finished results made every moment worthwhile. Little on-set hiccups—like the chiffon drapes tangling around the rabbit ears or bracelets slipping off—have now turned into fond, amusing memories.

In this Gongsun Li Cosplay set, my favorite is the second standing photo: standing tall fully displays the layered garments and sleek leg lines, which, paired with slightly swaying hand gestures, creates a vivid impression of being about to dance at any second. Meanwhile, the fourth close-up shot preserves the intricate headpiece details and the warm approachability in the gaze. I hope everyone can feel our dedication to costume authenticity and atmospheric staging—every accessory pairing and set piece arrangement aimed to faithfully recreate my first impression of this skin. This photoshoot was a delightful exploration that brought me deeper understanding and creative inspiration for Chinese Exotic style cosplays.
