[Grinning Professor cosplay] The mysterious smile in Blue Archive, trying to restore that composure - Image 1

Putting on this black long coat, wearing the golden-yellow long wavy wig, and then pressing the beret to just the right position, I instantly entered the state of the Grinning Professor. This time, to stay close to the character's elegant yet slightly mysterious aura, the red bow tie was specially selected as the visual focus, paired with a white lace skirt hem so the overall black-and-white color scheme wouldn't look too dull. In terms of props, that black cane is the crowning touch; holding it naturally makes me straighten my back, and my gaze strains to maintain that relaxed, half-smiling expression. For the boots, a black-and-white patched lace-up style was chosen, which both elongates the leg lines and blends perfectly with the academic and uniform feel of the entire costume. During the shoot, several standing postures were attempted—the natural front-facing stance on the left can better display the layering and tailoring of the clothing, while the side pose leaning on the cane on the right carries more of a narrative feel. Actually, the hardest part of restoring this type of character is not the clothes themselves, but how to convey the character's temperament through posture and details, such as the handling of clothing creases, the tightness of the bow tie, and even the combed curvature of the wig, all of which require repeated adjustments. Walking around the room in this gear, I feel the tone of my voice has unconsciously become steadier. The charm of the Grinning Professor lies exactly in that inscrutable composure, and I hope these photos can convey a bit of that flavor.
