When shooting this outdoor Hanayo cosplay project, I focused primarily on the performance of the costume materials under natural light. This dress ensemble features a sweet and refreshing tone overall; the upper body utilizes a large area of white semi-transparent sheer veil and lace patchwork, with highly intricate silver-thread embroidery details at the cuffs and collar. To prevent the garment from looking flat on-site, the colorful gemstone decorations on the chest and the blue waistband with purple cross-lacing are built with a certain degree of crisp, rigid support, beautifully cinching the waistline while maintaining a natural drape.

Managing the wig was also a key focus of the styling. The light gold hair fibers look incredibly soft after catching the light. The oversized curved curls of the front bangs required patient shaping, and combined with the braided ponytails on both sides and a small crown adorned with rhinestones on top, the layered texture of the entire hair setup was highlighted. Star-shaped hair accessories dotted among the strands perfectly echo the character's traits. Under the strong backlight environment of the courtyard venue, the edges of the hair catch a beautiful rim lighting, making the head styling look more voluminous and three-dimensional.

We selected multiple camera angles in this Xiamen cosplay outdoor gardening scene. The first photo features a seated pose by the edge of the stone pool with eyes closed and a gentle smile, aiming to express that lazy and tranquil state. For the close-up shot near the yellow-flowered plants, I deliberately lightened my movements, allowing my fingers to gently touch the petals, which, combined with the wide-aperture blur effect, creates an unaggressive sense of being close to Anime outdoors for the frame.

The third full-body photo standing against the door and window is, in my opinion, the most suitable to serve as the main display image. It completely showcases the vertical proportions of the entire outfit. The blue-and-white color-blocking of the corset shows high color saturation under the sun, the lavender outer lining of the skirt forms distinct layers with the white inner lining, and the small colorful gemstone decorations along the bottom hem are clearly visible. Even those platform shoes decorated with tiny lace and straps are beautifully included in the frame. This composition features excellent balance without forcing the character to the very edges, and the English garden sign on the doorplate adds a touch of everyday life to the mood.

The fourth half-body frame leaning against the white railing is meant to highlight the upper body's texture and eye contact. This angle actually tests the mastery of light and shadow; the photographer let the light hit the shoulders and hair diagonally, forming smooth transitions between light and dark, while the face sits within a soft reflection zone, making the gaze look exceptionally clear. The overall tone is bright without being overexposed, beautifully preserving the subtle fabric textures of the costume.

My mindset at the venue during the shoot was actually very relaxed. I didn't intentionally strike many fixed poses but focused more on interacting with the courtyard plants. The sheer texture of the skirt hem flutters during movement; to catch that weightless dynamic feel, we experimented with combinations of steps and turns multiple times at the same location. Standing before the lens in this Anime outdoors environment, I could feel the temperament boost brought by this costume, which, complemented by the surrounding greenery, blooming flowers, and stone fountains, elevates the frame beyond surface-level cuteness to add a touch of dreamlike, down-to-earth realism.

To recreate the character's sheer, clear makeup style, I applied a much lighter touch to the base makeup. The eye makeup focuses on perfectly separated lashes and a subtle blend of pink tones, paired with a soft peach shade for the lips to ensure a healthy complexion under strong outdoor light without looking exaggerated. Being able to capture results that I'm quite satisfied with this time is inseparable from that perfectly timed live lighting and natural emotion capture, beautifully rendering that cozy ease within the sunny courtyard.
