This time I am sharing the doujin styling of Kamisato Ayaka's "White Heron Sakura". To restore the character's cool, elegant, and classical temperament, I specially leaned toward a combination of sheer mesh and plush materials for the clothing fabric. The main blue and white color scheme presents a translucent texture under the studio's light and shadow, and the plush at the collar along with the feather design on the cuffs makes the overall look appear softer and more beautiful. The scene arrangement on the day of the shoot was very thoughtful; the artificial snow scenery inside the studio matched perfectly with the traditional Chinese furniture, and the faintly visible flowers and paper umbrella props in the background provided great layers. Holding up this blue oil-paper umbrella with cherry blossom patterns or gripping a folding fan instantly allowed me to find Kamisato Ayaka's dignified, elegant, and gentle state. While retaining the characteristics of the original design, this doujin outfit added some detailed elements, such as the knotting technique of the bowknot on the chest and the small pink folding fans on the skirt hem, which are highly recognizable in front of the lens. The photographer's control over the lighting and atmosphere was spot-on; under the rendering of the snowy background and blue light effects, it perfectly combined the Shirasagi Hime's midwinter atmosphere with the freshness of the doujin design. Although this look took a lot of effort in prop preparation and wig styling, the texture of the final photos was quite a pleasant surprise. Every time I interpret a beloved character with care, it's a serious treatment of my own hobby, finding the character's soul through meticulous makeup, styling, and dedicated performance.
