Shooting Lily White at Dapingshan Country Park was scheduled during the cherry blossom season around the vernal equinox, embodying the poetic feel of a blooming spring. The core focus was how to interpret the character's airy, weightless quality through visual lens language in this Cosplay photography session. The lawn blanketed in pink-and-white petals on-site matched the lore perfectly. I deliberately chose low-angle upward shots, using thick tree trunks in the foreground and overhead branches to form a natural framing device, focusing the eye on the center while eliminating passerby and street clutter. To capture the sensation of a spring fairy poised for flight, the poses included balancing on one leg while leaning back—a test of balance captured across multiple rounds of candid snapping.

The wardrobe's cascading tiers of white ruffled skirt paired with translucent fairy wings exhibited gorgeous light transmission under side-backlighting, while the red-orange wave trim on the dress served as vibrant highlights popping against the pink-and-white palette. Because the weather was cool and overcast with gentle diffused light, a reflector was used to fill light on the face, preserving the authentic texture of the grass and natural shadow details without oversaturating colors or overly lifting shadows, ensuring both soft beauty and luminous clarity. The styling placed special emphasis on pairing the blonde wig with the headdress, imbuing the character's overall aesthetic with the unique interplay of tradition and fantasy characteristic of Touhou Project.

In the final color grading, we accentuated the purity of white and the warmth of gentle pink while eliminating cool undertones, making the entire visual experience feel like a fresh spring breeze.
