This Dream in a Box shoot at the MoKa Anime Exhibition featured the Toy Merchant - Recollection Series design. Having shot at other conventions a few times before, this time the sets were quite diverse and rich, making the overall shooting process relatively smooth.

For hair and makeup, to match that delicate doll-like aesthetic, I chose golden double braids woven with tiny white daisies, with similar floral accents added to the hat. The eye makeup was deliberately rounded, paired with pink contact lenses and blush to enhance the texture and doll feel. The outfit consists of a light blue blouse with ruffles, white lace sleeves, and a large bow on the chest. A small pouch hangs at the waist, adorned with fluffy pom-poms and small flowers; the fine craftsmanship ensures it never looks plain on camera.

The silver tassel backdrop paired with balloons and gift boxes called for more playful poses, with the photographer encouraging me to extend my arms naturally to keep this set lively. The second set featured pink drapery with a velvet sofa, leaning toward tranquility and elegance. Sitting inside, the Pink stockings on my legs complemented the pink drapes beautifully, and sitting with crossed legs highlighted my leg contours. The third set was a dark green botanical forest setup, with lush leaves in the foreground and background; I also cradled a little bunny plush, and the dark backdrop made the light-colored Lolita outfit pop gorgeously. When posing, hand placement requires attention—lifting hands too high can look awkward, while angling legs to the side when sitting on the sofa flatters the leg shape much better.

There were long queues at the convention, so heartfelt thanks to the staff for keeping order, allowing us to shoot at practically every backdrop. Communication with the photographer was also crucial; due to the variety of sets, we tested different poses and expressions in each scene to achieve this final collection spanning multiple styles. Although the skirt hem is pure white, it features floral embroidery, maintaining a clean aesthetic across every set. Paired with the luminous reflections of the silver tassels and the subtle gloom of the forest atmosphere, it conveyed distinct emotional layers. Shooting a multi-set series like this at a con always tests your physical endurance, but being able to bring the lore's elements and props to life in person made it a truly fulfilling experience. All in all, this Dream in a Box shoot was delightful, with a wide span of atmospheric moods across different settings, and I'm very pleased with the final photos.
