[Marin Kitagawa cosplay] My Dress-Up Darling, recreating the most classic classroom scene

This time, I shot a set of Marin Kitagawa cosplay photoshoot in the classroom, aiming overall to capture that casual yet slightly charming vibe she usually has. To make this set of pictures turn out well, I put a lot of thought into the props and scenes beforehand. The wooden desks and chairs in the classroom, the blackboard, the metal cabinet and trophies in the back all became great background elements. I deliberately chose a slightly softer time in the afternoon for the lighting, which could just form nice light and shadow in the classroom, giving the frame more of a campus daily atmosphere.
In terms of clothing, I chose a classic black-and-white combination: a black knitted cardigan paired with a white shirt, and a red-and-black plaid pleated skirt on the lower body. The wig is that very eye-catching orange-pink gradient, and the large white bow on top of the head is the soul of it. I deliberately adjusted its position several times to make it look more natural. On my feet, I wore white stockings and brown platform shoes, a pairing that fits the character's design very well.
In terms of action design, I retained Kitagawa's casual and unconstrained traits. Putting my legs on the desk while taking selfies with a phone, or sitting on a chair looking at the screen with a phone, are both very everyday candid shooting angles. To highlight this casual vibe, the third picture uses a low-angle shot, which can not only showcase the leg lines, but paired with white stockings, it also gives the frame a stronger visual impact. Shooting was actually quite tiring, having to maintain that relaxed state the whole time, but seeing the final photos, I feel the effect is still very satisfactory, especially the leg lines and the overall composition.
In post-processing, I tried my best to preserve the texture without over-smoothing, making the skin tone look more translucent and natural. The background color grading leans towards a warm tone overall, turning the somewhat dull classroom environment into one with more of a lively, everyday atmosphere. Shooting this set of pictures was just to showcase the character's relaxed side on campus, without deliberately striking exaggerated poses—just a very everyday campus state. I hope everyone can feel this atmosphere.
