[Phrolova cosplay] Wuthering Waves dark gothic style, the ultimate collision of a metal crinoline and a greatsword

The physical weight of Phrolova's gothic style styling from Wuthering Waves is indeed not light. After dressing fully and standing firmly on that circular stone platform, the external black metal annular crinoline structure at the waist propped the skirt hem up to a fixed, exaggerated arc. The shape of this crinoline resembles a birdcage skeleton; although visually anime enough, it is a test for waist support during the shooting process, and both turning and positioning require controlling core strength to prevent the skeleton from swaying left and right.

The black heavy sword in hand is another visual core. The metal openwork and red rose decoration at the crossguard are extremely exquisite, but the weight of this sword is also quite substantial. When shooting close-ups of lifting it with one hand or holding it with both hands pointing forward, the arm needs to maintain a stable suspended state the whole time while keeping the facial expression relaxed, which has very high demands on physical strength and core control. The mint green wig has blunt bangs trimmed, and the long braided pigtails on the sides need to be fixed in front of the body to avoid entanglement with the sword hilt and crinoline. Although the black lace eyepatch on the right eye has good fit, wearing it for a long time leads to restricted vision on the right side, so when adjusting positions and coordinating with lighting and shadows, I needed to rely more on my left eye to confirm my profile angle.

This indoor scene was arranged with stone brick walls, a huge mechanical clock, and a background with cross elements, and the ground was covered with red rose petals. The photographer utilized warm yellow backlighting during lighting setup to outline the contours of the hair and clothes, supplemented by soft front face lighting. Anime-style photography is like this: the stronger the texture of props and costumes, the more three-dimensional the flat photo becomes. From confirming the layers of the wig to adjusting the balance of the exoskeleton, every detail must be fine-tuned before shooting begins in order to present the best state in front of the lens. Although shooting this styling consumes physical strength, the cold and rigid texture of the metal skeleton and gothic dress in the final photos is truly attractive.
