This Zenless Zone Zero Sigrid cosplay shoot encountered quite a few unexpected hiccups, so the final photos and behind-the-scenes clips were pieced together into a video during post-production. Although the process was a bit hectic, I was quite satisfied with the overall outcome of this Anime-style photography project. We chose an abandoned warehouse with an industrial wasteland aesthetic as the shoot location. The chaotic background—filled with red and blue graffiti, giant red oil barrels, "No Entry" signs, ammo crates, and vintage scrap TVs—matched the gritty atmosphere of a combat heroine perfectly.

In terms of props, the polearm weapon and semi-translucent shield were genuinely heavy; holding them with one hand for extended periods left my arm thoroughly sore. Fortunately, the silver mechanical arm guards added a strong sense of power, while the lance's glowing blue star emblem and the shield's blue petal patterns delivered incredible visual texture under cool blue lighting. The outfit features a white bodysuit combined with brown semi-sheer panels; the elastic fabric hugs the figure snugly but offers poor breathability, making the sweltering heat a major hurdle during the shoot. The mechanical neck armor and blue tie enhanced the sci-fi tech feel. During the shoot, I couldn't make overly large movements because the yellow animal ears on my head and the long tail behind easily caught on the wire mesh in the background.

This time, we used the Sony A7M5 paired with the FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II lens, which made switching perspectives in tight spaces effortless, delivering solid, rich color rendering. To better accentuate the material of these White stockings tights and the intricate golden buckle straps along the legs, the photographer utilized numerous low upward angles and profile shots—such as looking back while seated on the red barrel, or kneeling on one knee for a close-up. The surface of the red barrel was slick, and paired with black high-heeled boots, sitting on it felt quite precarious, relying entirely on shifting my core balance to stay steady. During shooting, special attention was paid to the reflective sheen of the White stockings under intense lighting, which, harmonized with the cool-toned ambient spill, accentuated my body curves and mature aura.

Due to time constraints, many poses and expressions were nailed in a single take—such as the final shot pointing the weapon forward with one hand, and the look-back moment cradling the shield. Looking back at the entire session, although exhausting, capturing the character's aloof yet dangerous aura alongside the playful charm of uma musume elements filled the entire shooting process with immense passion. That's all for this share!
