[Sigewinne cosplay] Luckin Coffee Collaboration Venue: Traveler, Please Accept This Special Drink!

The moment I changed into this Sigewinne cosplay costume, picked up the limited-edition Luckin Coffee co-branded cup, and stepped before the camera, the wonderful sensation brought by this cross-over collaboration felt remarkably tangible. For this location shoot, extensive and meticulous preparations were made beforehand. In terms of styling, the focus was on capturing the character's luminous clarity and innocent charm. The red colored contacts had to be highly breathable so my eyes wouldn't dry out during long hours of shooting; the eye makeup intentionally accentuated the outer corners, paired with subtle pink blush to give the face a more youthful, sweet look. The wig featured an ice-blue to pale-pink gradient with delicate strands; to maintain that curled ahoge on top of my head, I used styling spray to carefully sculpt its arc. The costume is a blue-and-white maid-style uniform: the white puff sleeves soften the silhouette, the navy pinafore dress features silver trim lines, and a pink-rimmed badge is pinned to the chest. The bunny ears on my head were particularly special—supported by internal wire, they retained that slightly droopy, adorable posture nicely. While they carried some weight, it was completely worth it to faithfully recreate the character.

The shoot took place in a bustling Luckin Coffee shop with steady foot traffic. To prevent the background from looking too cluttered, we chose a seating area close to the illuminated interior sign. Using the ceiling lights and the glowing signboard as auxiliary light sources allowed the face to receive even lighting. Raising the cup seemed casual, but the angle was actually adjusted several times so the cup rested naturally along the jawline, emphasizing the prop while visually contouring the facial profile. The peace-sign shot sought to capture spontaneous energy and vitality. The cheek-resting pose was meant to reveal the character's quiet, well-behaved side, with fingers resting gently against the cheek while searching for the most natural expression to avoid stiffness.

We encountered small challenges during the shoot—such as bangs covering the eyes a few times, or puff sleeves deforming from movement—which required immediate checks after every shot. As collaboration photos, being able to portray the character in a beloved café with styling I painstakingly prepared was deeply fulfilling. Whether finding the right angle for the prop cup or smoothing out wrinkles in the fabric, one could truly appreciate the unique charm of blending a 2D character into the 3D real world. This shoot was far more than a simple cosplay experience; it felt as though, as the character herself, I genuinely spent a leisurely afternoon in this real-life setting, sharing a wonderful mental resonance with her. The greatest reward was seeing that energetic yet slightly relaxed demeanor in the final photos.
