Seeing this Pink wig at first made me quite nervous because capturing that delicate and ethereal feel is tricky, plus this outfit has so many accessories. The overall color palette is very rich, but keeping it intricate without being messy was the hardest part of styling. The inner white top features subtle woven patterns on the fabric so it doesn't look overly plain. The main dark blue jacket uses a dropped-shoulder and off-the-shoulder design, showcasing collarbone lines while giving the overall look more breathing room. The golden round pendant on the chest and collarbone is heavily crafted; its metallic sheen paired with the central red round gem forms a great visual focus under the light.
What required the most effort was handling the sleeve covers—a purple base cloth paired with black leather straps, featuring white runic print patterns on the straps. To recreate this detail, I adjusted the belt width and position several times before making it look natural and unconstrained. The white bow under the right sleeve cuff also served as a great accent, neutralizing the cold tones of blue and purple. The white shoulder straps feel soft and don't dig into shoulders. This Pink wig is actually much more layered than expected; the bangs sit just above the eyebrows, which, along with side wisps, frames the face beautifully, while the silver wing-shaped hair accessory on the side adds to the character's uniqueness.
For makeup, the base was kept light and translucent, emphasizing soft tones on the cheeks. The blue contact lenses looked very clear under soft indoor lighting, forming a charming contrast with the Pink wig. I avoided drawing particularly thick eyeliner this time, choosing instead a fine pen to trace natural lash roots and a subtle aegyo sal, making the gaze look innocent and lively. The lip color was a glossy pale nude-pink, harmonizing perfectly with the overall pink and purple tone.
The shooting day was actually set in a corner of my home, with a white rack and beige patterned curtains as the background—a very everyday home environment of Cosplay daily life. Although not as gorgeous as a professional studio, this environment made me feel much more relaxed and less awkward when posing. The lighting was set up for a warm atmosphere without using harsh hard lights; instead, a large softbox simulated natural diffuse light. Thus, light and shadow transitions on the face and outfit were very soft, preventing the dark blue of the clothes from turning pitch black while preserving the airy feel of the Pink wig nicely.
During the cosplay process, what tests a person most isn't just putting on clothes and makeup, but how to align one's expressions and demeanor toward the character. The Pink wig paired with lightweight Anime-style fashion options made me lean toward softer, more relaxed body language when posing. Leaning my head slightly or letting my gaze drift slightly into space added storytelling atmosphere to the frame. What satisfied me most about this gear were the tactical elements composed of metal buckles and leather straps, giving the overall look a touch of hardcore flair alongside pure softness.
Through tuning makeup, hair styling, and photography, I found that accessory delicacy significantly impacts the final photo look—especially the ruby on the necklace, which refracts different lusters with slight light adjustments. The silver-gray horn accessory on the head also has a unique shape; finding the right angle avoids clutter, so I usually prefer shooting from a side-rear angle to highlight this detail. Although in a home environment, squatting poses or half-body close-ups effectively bypass cluttered backgrounds, locking the audience's visual focus entirely onto the face and upper-body costume.
Overall, this photo shoot was my personal attempt at cosplaying a character in this style. From the Pink wig and blue contact lenses to the blue, purple, and white Anime-style fashion ensemble, despite having many accessories, the assembled effect turned out great. Immersing myself in the joy of cosplay during free time and carefully attending to every costume detail is something genuinely meaningful to me. This styling naturally carries an aura coexisting with ethereal grace and playfulness, and I could feel a very unique atmosphere during the shoot myself.
