[Cyrene Cosplay] The Pink-Haired Girl in Honkai: Star Rail

The photographer's efficiency in delivering the photos in just five minutes was truly a massive surprise—a full set of nine fully-retouched photos was completely done, and I must praise our god-like chemistry and cooperation on set.

While shooting this set of works, I put a lot of thought into the makeup and wig styling, focusing on the combination of pink hair and colored contacts. To restore the character's charm, I specially adjusted the arc and layers of the pink hair bangs, making the overall hairstyle look more fluffy and natural on camera. Combined with the custom blue colored contacts and eye makeup, I tried my best to capture the character's unique temperament—cold and detached yet carrying a touch of playfulness. In terms of costume, the color scheme of this blue-and-purple layered design is highly sophisticated, with the golden starlight accessories adding the perfect touch.

During the shoot, we experimented with several different pose compositions, including close-up macro shots of reaching out to interact, an elegant posture sitting quietly on a rattan chair to showcase the details of the skirt hem, and the final shot of completely relaxing and lying down, using a wide-angle low-angle shot to fully elongate the visual effect. On set, I tried to relax as much as possible, avoiding forced poses, and instead followed the photographer's guidance to capture the most natural flow of emotions. Seeing the expressions caught inadvertently in the finished photos, it truly felt as though the character had stepped right out of the setting.

This is also something I have always valued deeply; cosplay is not just about wearing a costume and standing there, but rather about understanding the character's core essence, turning this Roleplay into using the language of the lens to tell the story of her moments. Every creation is a brand-new experience, and I hope these lights and shadows can convey the sense of narrative in the setting. The shooting process was highly enjoyable, and I look forward to sparking more brilliant frames in future Cosplay photography sessions.
