【Kyoyama Kazusa cosplay】Summer Beach Vibe Convention Photos from Meng 20 - Image 1

The Convention photos and Cosplay photo sharing from Meng 20 are finally sorted out! This time, I shot Kyoyama Kazusa from Blue Archive. To capture the essence of this character, I prepared the straight-bang black hair wig beforehand, paired with custom cat ears and the glowing pink halo on top. The design highlights of this look are the denim bikini top and frayed denim shorts, paired with a thigh strap, choker, and those blue slides, creating a summery and casually sexy vibe. Setting up the shoot location took a lot of effort—real sand was laid across the floor, decorated with iced champagne buckets, pink drinks, strawberry cake, a woven straw tote bag, and colorful candies scattered around. These props provided great immersion.

Since the outfit itself is quite bold, during early preparations I paid special attention to body silhouette lines, especially the waist and legs, which, combined with the crisp studio lighting during the shoot, accentuated this confident posture even more. Before shooting, I communicated with the photographer about the relaxed vibe we wanted, so the poses in the entire set turned out very natural, just like vacationing at the seaside. The floating halo visual effects added in post-processing brought an extra touch of dreamy ambiance. Wearing shorts during the shoot directly showcased my legs, while the waist-cinching cut flattered body proportions nicely.

Adjusting the denim fabric was also important; constantly straightening its placement on the body ensured optimal visual results. The costume texture in this shoot is truly amazing—the ruggedness of denim contrasting with soft body curves creates great visual tension. This look also turned many heads during Convention photos sessions. Although outdoor shoots and conventions take a toll on stamina, seeing the final photos faithfully restore the character's cool yet slightly sassy demeanor made all the preparation worthwhile. It was also a wonderful experience trying an indoor beach style with well-matched props and balanced ambient lighting. Additionally, I adjusted the angle of the halo to fit the character setting better, and the waist ties added extra detail to the overall styling. This shoot truly gave me a deeper connection with this character.
