Presenting a full Kyoyama Kazusa cosplay photoshoot from Blue Archive.
The styling leans closely toward the "Jirai-kei cosplay" aesthetic, centered around a dusty-pink long-sleeved blouse adorned with black lace splicing, delicate ruffles across the collar and cuffs, and a black bow tie at the chest, creating an exquisite and layered silhouette. The lower half is paired with a high-waisted black pleated miniskirt and Black long socks, completed with glossy black patent-leather platform loafers. These platform shoes are not only comfortable, but also flatter leg lines while anchoring the lower silhouette with solid visual weight without feeling top-heavy.
For hair and makeup, the wig is a chin-length black bob with blunt bangs and subtle pink-purple ombre tips, harmonizing with the black cat ears and pink Cat ear halo headpiece. Makeup emphasizes the brows and eyes with soft reddish undertones, giving her gaze a languid, cool composure without looking overly youthful. Props added significant charm—casually holding a pink-and-red canned energy drink alongside a black leather backpack made the casual outdoor snapshot vibe feel entirely organic.
We shot this set during the golden hour of dusk. The warm, golden natural sunlight washed over my face and hair, creating gentle chiaroscuro transitions that accentuated skin texture and makeup depth. We chose an outdoor terrace featuring stone steps and glass balustrades; the minimalist lines of modern architecture served as an unobtrusive backdrop. My photographer friend excels at candid timing—the seated poses feel effortless rather than rigidly posed. The cover shot seated on the steps in particular, with legs naturally extended forward, torso slightly tilted, and hand resting casually beside my leg, channels both relaxed ease and understated cool.
Leaning against the glass railing captured a quieter, introspective dimension; creamy background bokeh kept the focus squarely on character and wardrobe nuances. The Cat ear halo caught the setting sun brilliantly, forming captivating rim highlights. In portraying this character, capturing her tsundere edge and confident attitude was just as vital as replicating design traits. Synergy with the photographer was seamless—refining backpack straps, smoothing skirt pleats, and holding the beverage can naturally all shaped the final polish.
Given the rich visual layering, we captured diverse angles—glancing back over the shoulder, profiles, and close-ups—to showcase every design facet. Pairing Black long socks with chunky loafers blended sweet-cool aesthetics with daily casual flair. Bathed in the golden sunset, this Kyoyama Kazusa cosplay photoshoot fully materialized her unique charm and Jirai-kei cosplay allure from Blue Archive.
