Choosing an authentic outdoor pool setting for this character swimsuit shoot allowed the natural refracted light of the water and light-blue ripple tones to perfectly accentuate the translucent texture of the silver-white wig. The entire outfit centers on pure white lace, with a light-blue ribbon bow on the chest serving as the visual focal point. Unlike the solemn weight of her original design, this swimsuit version emphasizes a refreshing summer vibe.

The fox ears on the head were crafted from biomimetic material with a balanced fur density, paired with gold-and-white floral ornaments at the base and a waist-length translucent white lace veil. The draping quality of the veil looked stunning in the breeze, though it had to be managed separately from the wig to prevent tangling in the wind. A thin gold chain and a mini charm dangle from the lace choker around the neck; despite having many decorative elements, the restrained color palette ensures the entire look remains clean and sleek.

While shooting this photo set, the Transparent sequin swim ring in hand was a key prop. Unlike ordinary inflatable rings, the sequins sealed inside create a sparkling star effect under direct sunlight; by adjusting body posture, sunlight passing through the clear plastic cast shimmering, glittering patterns onto the legs. Kneeling by the poolside or leaning forward over the swim ring outlined the silhouette more naturally while keeping the styling visually balanced from appearing top-heavy.

Because it was outdoors by the daytime pool, lighting shifted quickly, requiring us to catch fleeting moments of rim and side lighting. Dappled sunlight filtering through tree leaves fell across the lace trim of the skirt, creating a gorgeous effect. The background element of a black-and-white giant panda hugging a yellow duck floatie stood out quite playfully, adding a touch of casual charm to the frame so it wouldn't feel overly rigid.

The wig color chosen this time was a cool-toned silver-gray white, closely matching the sheen of the original design. Bobby pins were used at the base of the beast ears for support to ensure they remained upright from every angle without collapsing under the weight of the wig. The edges of the veil feature intricate lace details that show up clearly under macro lenses, lending a gentle yet mysterious aesthetic.

Beyond the shoot itself, let me share a few tips on location photography. Being poolside means tiles are prone to slipping, so safety is paramount when setting up camera angles. Fox ears and veils are easily affected by wind outdoors; beyond pinning them securely during setup, frequent checks throughout shooting are essential. This character's white hair features rich layering, and appropriate center-parted bangs and sideburn styling help balance the complexity brought by the ears and veil.

This makeup and styling didn't emphasize heavy colors, opting instead for a translucent base to match the lightness of summer swimwear. The garment incorporates extensive lace patchwork with delicate edge finishing, revealing clear lace textures during close-ups. As a prop, the Transparent sequin swim ring gave the hands a natural place to rest—resting against the rim or draping casually over it effortlessly conveyed that signature languid mood.

During the shoot, we also encountered typical outdoor challenges, such as controlling water surface reflections—keeping facial lighting soft while preserving the water's shimmer required careful light management from the photographer. Fortunately, the clear pool water and pure white ensemble blended seamlessly in the final shots, matching our initial vision perfectly.

It can be said that preparation focused heavily on keeping decorative pieces intact during movement, given that outdoor winds, water glares, and slippery surfaces added difficulty to every action. This white lace swimsuit also features an open-back design, showcasing clean waist and back lines during side kneeling poses and adding depth to the costume. Shooting in the late afternoon allowed light to penetrate the water's surface, refracting beautiful ripples.

Many easily overlook the role of transparent props, but they often serve as the finishing touch in a composition. In overhead and crouching shots, the round contour of the sequin swim ring forms visual loops with the body's lines, filling any void when framing is minimal.
