The details of Hsin's costume truly require spending time to meticulously polish, especially the texture of the accessory parts, which particularly absorbs light before the lens. The black, white, and red spliced fabric features subtle patterns, and the blue-and-red gradient gemstone accessory on the chest serves as the visual center. The outer red wide sleeves have plush borders sewn along the edges; during the shoot, these plush directions had to be constantly adjusted to avoid looking messy in front of the lens. To fit the character, I combed this long silver-white wig for a long time. Coupled with that pair of huge black, white, and gray speckled beast ears on top of the head, the entire head weight was not light. The golden branch hair ornaments on the ears needed to be securely fixed to the hairnet and wig with small bobby pins to prevent shifting when striking poses. In terms of makeup, red circle lenses were key; the eyeshadow blending area was larger than everyday makeup, and the red traditional forehead flower decal had to be reapplied twice to fit the skin edges satisfactorily before I was content. What I found most challenging was that set of ultra-long, sharp artificial nails; wearing them made holding things quite inconvenient, but the captured finger movements truly carried a strong fox-like allure. The gesture in the first photo of slightly raising a hand to pinch a flower was found after continuous attempts to discover an angle that neither caused clipping artifacts with the nails nor failed to showcase hand line contours. The choice of the studio set was also thoughtfully crafted. The huge glowing moon board in the back provided fantastic warm rim lighting, making the long silver hair shine with great luster. The nearby calligraphy screen increased the heavy historical feel of the ancient Oriental style, and the second photo added red maple leaf branches, echoing the red of the costume to bring out rich color layering in the frame. Photographer @Rising Airflow's control over light and shadow was spot-on; during our communication, we decided to use more side-backlighting to outline the body's edge lines. Because it involved sitting and reclining postures, when sitting cross-legged in the first photo, attention had to be paid to the connection between the legs and the skirt hem, ensuring the skirt's golden leaf patterns were exposed as much as possible. In the second photo, reclining sideways on the plush blanket with pointed toes and red painted toenails were specially designed details; to better showcase that lazy yet slightly sexy posture, the waist was actually constantly exerting subtle core strength to keep the upper body maintaining a nice curve. This photo set achieving such an effect essentially met the pre-shoot expectations, with the studio's light and shadow blending perfectly with the costume's texture.
