This time, carrying the character setting of the little angel Rem, I selected a spot of Hydrangea bushes in full bloom as the outdoor location. For the outfit, I chose a light blue and pure white sheer tutu dress; the multi-layered hemline can spread out naturally when sitting down, which, paired with the white over-the-knee socks and plush accessories, restores a fairy-like light and ethereal texture. The hair clips and hair accessories on the head achieved a consistent color matching, making the wig look more fitting to the character's personality image. During the shoot, full use was made of the natural light filtering through the trees; this soft diffused light made the skin look fair and clear, while beautifully showcasing the light and dark variations of the clothing. In terms of camera work, the photographer tried a large aperture and shallow depth of field, letting the pink flower balls in the foreground and the green plants in the background form rich layers. To complement the long plush props, some interactive poses were designed, such as waving the long plush wand or resting the chin in thought, which gives the photos more of a narrative feel. During the outdoor shoot, the issue of inconvenient movement within the bushes was overcome, and some beautifully staggered camera positions were successfully found. The overall style did not use overly exaggerated post-processing special effects, but tried to retain the true natural light and colors as much as possible. The character Rem has always carried a gentle yet resilient trait, and I hope to showcase her other side—both playful and sweet—through this set of photos with the hydrangeas.
