[Cheshire Cosplay] Azur Lane Dual Maid Outfits: Kitty and Bunny Cuddling

At this Guangzhou Anime Convention, I finally arranged the long-awaited Azur Lane dual maid outfits. Teaming up with Formidable @Sandaji to cosplay Cheshire and Formidable was truly a super happy experience. For this shoot, we prepared this black and white color-schemed maid dress a long time in advance, with lace borders, bows, and little bells—details maxed out. The wigs were also specially styled; my blue-grey highlighted twin-tails paired with Formidable's silver-white long straight hair looked visually very compatible standing together.

The on-site lighting was actually quite complex, but the photographer found a perfect corner of the exhibition hall. Utilizing natural light and reflector boards, they beautifully captured the layering of the skirt hem and the texture of the white stockings. I also brought a yellow dumpling plush toy as an interactive prop; holding it above my head gave a particularly playful feel, making the whole frame come alive. Although standing all day in platform high heels made my legs a bit sore, seeing the mutual tacit understanding between the two of us in the finished photos, conveying that lively yet slightly tsundere feel of the characters, made it feel completely worth it.

During the shooting process, we kept playing with cuddling interactions; the kitty and bunny combination is truly something you never get tired of watching. The fluffiness of this outfit's skirt hem is great, looking exceptionally beautiful when spinning. If there is an opportunity next time, I'd love to try other stylings and integrate more interesting little elements from Azur Lane into my cosplay creations.
