This time, I'm doing a Yin Ziping cosplay from NARAKA: BLADEPOINT. The details of the entire costume are truly extensive, especially the texture of the feathers and ribbons. To capture the ethereal feeling from the game, I intentionally chose a single-leg standing pose for the action design, utilizing the sword and ribbon props to give the frame maximum dynamic tension. The second photo, waving the colorful silk ribbon, actually took many attempts because maintaining balance while making the ribbon form a perfect arc requires a lot of core strength and prop control. The environment for this shoot was an indoor studio setting. The lighting made the blue-purple gradient on the dress and the silver-white decorations look particularly translucent, and the texture details on the white stockings are also clearly visible. The character Yin Ziping inherently possesses a lively and agile temperament. For the styling, I chose a pink wig and plush hair accessories, paired with delicate eye makeup to highlight that youthful girl vibe. Every time I take on a character from NARAKA: BLADEPOINT for a roleplay, it gives me a deeper understanding of costume design and prop making—for instance, the glowing effect on the sword and the length ratio of the ribbons both required repeated adjustments to achieve the ideal state. As a work of Xianxia photography and traditional Chinese style cosplay, this set of photos also received soft processing during post-color grading to make the overall atmosphere closer to that otherworldly, celestial feeling in the game.
