This time, quite a few small details were prepared for the styling of The Snow Woman cosplay. The wig was specially chosen with a light blue gradient, and to maintain the shape of that ahoge on top of the head, layers of styling spray were stacked on, for fear of it collapsing. Instead of a traditional kimono, the costume used a white turtleneck sweater and a light blue cardigan, wanting to try this Casual style cosplay image of the Snow Woman that can also manifest the Widow Snow Woman temperament. It looks less cold, but actually, I still worked hard to bring back that cool and detached trait of the Snow Woman in my gaze and expressions.

The shooting location was chosen at a guesthouse in Qingdao, making it ideal for a Qingdao photoshoot with perfect lighting conditions. The sunlight streamed through the French windows, making the entire room soft and translucent. The photographer paid special attention to negative space during composition, aiming for that lazy, casual home atmosphere. When shooting this kind of semi-anime, semi-casual photos, movements and emotions are often more touching than exaggerated poses. I tried using small movements to immerse myself into the character, such as placing a finger against my lower lip in contemplation, or sitting on the carpet while hugging a throw pillow.

Excellent photography direction can indeed help a coser enter the zone much faster. This set of photos didn't intentionally build a world of ice and snow, but rather placed the Snow Woman's sense of detachment and mystery into a modern home environment, creating a contrast. The white walls and natural light enhanced the image quality to be very clean, and the pairing of dark stockings with the white sweater also looked sleek, retaining both the 2D refinement and a sense of reality for this Cosplay photography session.
