[Yin Ziping cosplay] The Agile Little Divine Healer in NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, Freshly Released Convention Photos

This time, for the Yin Ziping costume brought to the convention, every detail was repeatedly adjusted, from the dyeing of the feathers to the metallic texture of the shoulder armor and girdle. Especially for the flowing ribbons at the waist and the feathered layers of the skirt, to recreate that lightweight, elegant, and slightly ethereal visual effect from the game, I chose a polarized color fabric stitched with faux fur of varying densities. The lighting at the convention venue during the shoot was actually very complex. The bright top light from the windows, combined with the interference of surrounding reflectors and various fill lights, could easily wash out the gradient colors on the outfit. Therefore, I put quite a bit of thought into the post-processing color restoration, trying my best to keep the main purple-pink tone translucent while retaining the soft-lit edges of the feathers. In terms of posing, I tried three different angles. The pose in the photo with one leg lifted took a long time practicing in front of the mirror to find the center of gravity because high heels on the slippery floor were a bit prone to sliding, but fortunately, the body lines look quite stretched and graceful in the final photo. Actually, compared to studio shoots, the biggest challenge for convention photos is the passersby in the background. The photographer used a wide aperture to blur out the crowd, completely concentrating the focus on the character itself. The shoulder decorations of this outfit are quite wide, and some friends said it easily makes the shoulders look broad in photos. Therefore, I intentionally turned my body slightly to the side when positioning myself, using arm interactions to balance the visual proportions. There are many interpretations of Yin Ziping in the fan community, but I prefer to retain her gentle yet slightly playful expression rather than deliberately trying to strike a cold and aloof vibe. The combination of white tights and high heels, specifically the silver stiletto sandals, under the reflection of the convention's gray-toned floor, just happened to elongate the leg lines, and I am quite satisfied with the completion level of the overall look. Being able to meet many partners who love NARAKA: BLADEPOINT and anime cosplay this time, and exchanging insights on costume tailoring and prop making, was also the most joyful part of the convention.
