This photoshoot features the Chalcedony ice core skin of Yin Ziping from NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, taking advantage of the blooming season by choosing an outdoor venue in Jilin for this flower season location shoot. Regarding the costume, the primary composition of this Chalcedony ice core outfit is white-themed, yet its silhouette and layering are actually more complex than imagined. The black piping on the clothing and the printed patterns on the chest and skirt hemline require meticulous replication. To manifest the character's weightless agility, irregular lace borders were adopted at the cuffs and skirt edges, which, paired with the black neck ornament, makes the overall color scheme clean and crisp without looking overly monotonous. The prop is a long white staff, throwing off excellent highlight reflections under the sunlight.

For the wig, the silver-white wig possesses ample volume; the stylist combed the long hair to be exceptionally smooth and styled it into a high ponytail with bowknot hair accessories on both sides. This long hair styling is quite susceptible to the wind during a shoot; although the hair strands fluttering in the wind look incredibly aesthetic in the final prints, we actually had to stop frequently during the live shoot to untangle the knotted sections.

The three photos actually present three distinct states. The back view print was snapped right when a natural breeze swept through, primarily intended to display the drape of the skirt hemline and the long, fluttering tail of the hair. The close-up print offers a front-facing display holding the prop amidst the flower bushes, demanding precise control over expressions and eye contact. As for the pose selected for the cover—a side-profile backward glance with a single leg raised—it was chosen to capture the linear grace of the white thigh-high stockings and high heels paired with this outfit. It must be said that white high heels paired with red soles definitely introduce a striking visual focal point.

The shooting environment that day was actually quite challenging; although the early spring outdoors in Jilin was in full bloom with white flowers interwoven with green grass, the ground was often a sloping lawn, so standing there in high heels while maintaining balance required some core strength. Especially when I raised a single leg, the demand for controlling the center of gravity was relatively high. The white lace design of the skirt hemline sways gently with the footsteps during movement, and the photographer specifically reminded me to keep both shoulders relaxed, as gripping the long staff prop too tightly easily causes the shoulders to shrug unnaturally, disrupting the body curve. You can see in the close-up print that the lines of the arms and shoulders were handled with a very open and relaxed extension.

The photographer provided a ton of help with composition and snapshot timing during the early phases, and did not over-smooth the skin during post-processing editing, instead preserving the environment's natural texture and the lens flare halos cast by sunlight filtering through the flower branches. The lighting happened to be a perfect backlight, cleanly silhouetting the contours of the hair strands and clothing. Outdoor location shoots are highly susceptible to weather conditions, and since the flower season in Jilin is short, we intentionally picked the timeframe with the softest sunlight to capture that bright yet non-glaring atmosphere.

The white hue of this costume is prone to highlight clipping outdoors, but under correct exposure, it conversely manufactures a crisp, detached, and highly translucent aura. Aside from unifying the color tones during post-processing, this set of works also slightly boosted some highlight sections to make the layering of the white tones more defined. Stepping beneath the flowering trees in this attire genuinely aligns with the character's ethereal agility and that slight touch of otherworldly detachment. My primary energy today was invested in the coordination of movements and props, and the overall print results turned out quite well.
