[Yixuan cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Ink Journey Shadows: Collision of Black Stockings and Plush Shawl - Image 1

For this Yixuan cosplay, I deliberately poured substantial effort into styling, hair, and garment details. First, the wig was chosen in a sleek silver White hair style; to keep the strands airy before the lens without looking messy, texturing, thinning, and root volumizing took over an hour longer than usual. The black cloud-patterned hair accessory at the temple served as the crowning touch, immediately drawing visual focus straight to the face. For eye makeup, intense pinkish-red tones were layered and paired with pale yellow-green contact lenses, lending the character's aura an edge that feels both dangerous and alluring. A classic true red was selected for the lips to echo the eye makeup, resulting in an exceptionally rich, full presence on camera.

Garment-wise, the tactile texture of this black-and-grey striped top was paramount, so I intentionally chose a textile with subtle sheen. The turned-back cuffs revealing white fabric with blue soaring bird motifs, along with the blue racing stripes down the outer arms, appeared remarkably refined under tailored lighting. The white miniskirt on the bottom features soft blue cloud prints that resonate with the Chinese lattice window in the background. To balance the expansive volume of the white plush shawl across the upper body, I coordinated a pair of sheer Black stockings. The fluffy volume of the faux fur contrasted against the sleek fit of the stockings; sitting sideways on the wooden armchair with crossed legs allowed leg contours to extend naturally, while this languid posture effortlessly complemented Yixuan's calm, unhurried presence.

The set was arranged indoors against traditional openwork wooden screens, where the deep-toned wooden chair and geometric latticework behind introduced excellent dimensional depth. I had the lighting primarily subdue the background, keeping only a diffused key light from the front-side falling onto my face and White hair, instantly carving out rich layers across the frame. Holding a blue-and-white prop with fingertips lightly pinching the edge, paired with a slight tilt of the head, my gaze was calibrated to carry casual yet focused detachment to honor the mysterious, cool ambiance of Yixuan's Ink Journey Shadows.

Though apologies for potential OOC were mentioned early on, to capture maximum fidelity, I referenced the character's intrinsic standing and seated logic when designing poses. While the plush shawl looks gorgeous, it proved intensely hot, requiring a handheld fan between takes; however, witnessing the textural interplay between the plush fur and the stockings in the final images made enduring the heat completely worthwhile. The overall aesthetic merges Chinese traditional restraint with modern 2D anime sharpness, and I hope everyone enjoys this cool, glamorous interpretation of Yixuan.
