[Yixuan cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero OL Fan-made design, black and white Workplace outfit in a pure white space

Changing into this OL-style Fan-made design cosplay of Yixuan, I took these photos in a pure white office space. When you see these photos, you might feel they are quite different from the usual in-game style. Indeed, this time I tried to combine the character's temperament with the workplace theme, and the overall resulting feel is quite special.

For the wig, I chose long wavy curls, paired with a small black hair clip, and those half-rim glasses, which can be considered the soul embellishments of this Fan-made design. I wore a black glossy dress with a white collar underneath, which not only retains the classic black-and-white pairing but also tries to match the capability of a career woman in the details. Wearing this kind of glossy material actually really tests the lighting because the reflection is quite strong, creating a strong three-dimensional effect in photos, which is also why we chose a highly bright environment.

The sitting posture in the first picture is one of my personal favorites. Sitting on the black office chair with legs casually crossed, the combination of semi-sheer Black stockings and high heels with red soles is visually quite layered. Controlling the balance of the center of gravity is very important when striking this pose, because the chair has wheels, and a slight movement will affect the shooting angle. Fortunately, after adjusting a few times, an ideal state was achieved. Crossing legs while wearing high heels can easily make the leg shape look not stretched enough, so during the shoot, I naturally pressed my toes down to tighten the calf lines, so the resulting effect would look capable and relaxed.

The second picture features a half-squatting action reaching for a pen holder, which requires handling the hand posture, body orientation, and gaze all at the same time. The photographer gave a great suggestion at the time, asking me to imagine the dynamic moment of just going to sign a document or grabbing stationery. Half-squatting in high heels actually demands quite a bit of ankle strength. To keep the frame looking relaxed and natural, it did take some effort to find the center of gravity so the movement wouldn't look stiff. The blue folder I held in my hand, along with the silver laptop and pen holder on the desk, became very practical prop assists in this office scene.

During the preliminary preparations, we actually discussed for a long time how to embody that "older sister vibe". For this kind of role-playing, apart from getting the makeup and styling right, the demeanor is also crucial. The makeup artist helped me slightly wing up my eyeliner; paired with the glasses and a faint smile, it initially set that calm and composed tone. During the shoot, to maintain the state of the hair and gear, I had to constantly tidy up my hair strands with my hands in between shots, preventing the wig from getting messed up due to looking down or vigorous movements.

Shooting this OL Fan-made design cosplay felt very satisfying. Being able to break away from the original combat setting, put on high heels, and stand in an environment made up of a whiteboard, desk, and laptop allows me to envision a parallel universe of daily office work. Although the style of the entire photo set is relatively minimalist, a lot of thought went into the texture presentation. The reflection of the black patent leather, the sheerness of the stockings, combined with the white background, form a very strong high-contrast art style. In this Workplace outfit, the color blocking embellishment of the red-soled shoes also became a nice little highlight in the high-contrast frame.

This Fan-made design attempt is also meant to show another possibility for the character from a different angle. If everyone has their own ideas, you can boldly try various different settings, because the charm of the character itself lies in its space to be continuously discovered and created. During the process of shooting this set of photos, I also gained a better understanding of the character. This joy of secondary creation is indeed hard to replace with other forms.
