Slipping into this white shirt and pleated skirt, tying the cyan necktie, and adjusting the harness straps snugly around my waist, my whole demeanor instantly felt crisp and capable. Today's shoot was set in an outdoor courtyard with a swimming pool bathed in ample sunlight, where the lush green grass and pool's azure water made the scene look remarkably translucent. The prop gun felt slightly heavier in hand than imagined, but it was precisely this genuine heft that made role-playing feel so immersive.

For makeup this time, the eyeshadow was blended with subtle orange-pink tones to pair with the light pink long straight hair and the iconic multi-layered halo overhead, looking very soft under natural daylight. During the shoot, I tried several distinct poses: a serious stance holding the rifle with both hands, a breezy moment lifting one leg while saluting, and a confident pose resting a hand on my hip with the gun rested on my shoulder. I particularly favor the second saluting pose because it showcases the silhouette of the uniform without looking rigid, creating a wonderful gap-charm that blends campus vivacity with a touch of combat readiness.

The collar and cuffs of the white shirt needed to be pressed completely flat for the best effect, while the plaid pattern of the pleated skirt revealed clear light-and-shadow gradations under the sunlight—details that were definite bonuses for photography. Photographer @Hongbai was adept at capturing natural light and shadow, seamlessly harmonizing the dappled tree shadows on the lawn with my movements. Truth be told, cosplay is far more than just wearing a costume and striking a few poses; it tests one's understanding of the character's mental state. While some may think a girl holding a gun is inherently cool, I aimed to convey that subtle balance between everyday languor and being instantly battle-ready.

The temperature that day was quite high, and staying on the grass grew rather warm, but seeing that crisp, airy outdoor atmosphere in the final photos made everything worthwhile. The white casing and red accents of the prop gun popped vividly against the green lawn backdrop, creating fantastic visual layering alongside the black harness and dark skirt. Furthermore, the black-and-white sneakers paired with white socks added a fresh, youthful student vibe to the overall look.

Every cosplay project is a brand-new adventure, requiring iterative refinement at every step from material selection and styling to the actual shoot. Faithfully recreating this uniform cosplay and prop gun served as a great test of my aesthetic sense and hands-on skills. I hope the lighting and mood in these photos convey the unique charm inherent to this character—after all, capturing that seemingly casual yet earnest attitude is the core essence I always strive to master.
