This time, I brought a Seele Vollerei cosplay look that I had worked on for a long time to the Anime convention. The blue-purple short wig took quite some time to style and set the bangs, and wearing the bright blue contact lenses felt a bit dry, so I had to apply eye drops several times in between. The white lower eyelashes in the eye makeup were drawn on cluster by cluster by myself, and to match the character's traits, I specifically adjusted the drooping curvature at the outer corners of my eyes. The inverted-triangle metal pendant with an eye pattern and iron chain hanging around my neck was heavier than expected, especially in the crowded hall where it created a pulling sensation while walking. The black halter top with white patterns was very breathable, and to make it fit more cleanly, I adjusted the chest folds several times. Standing in the exhibition hall with such a lively environment gave this live photoshoot a sense of vitality that studio shoots can hardly match. Moving through the venue with friends, we also met very friendly photographers. The complex lighting on-site really tested the longevity of the eye makeup. Because I prefer capturing the authentic Anime convention atmosphere, I didn't deliberately strike overly exaggerated poses, but simply stood confidently in front of the camera to present the character. When sorting through these photos, I could feel how relaxed my state was at that moment—without striving for poster-like perfection, it preserved genuine texture instead. All the props, makeup, and styling were prepared by myself; though the process was tedious, seeing the final presentation in the photos brought a strong sense of accomplishment. This direct, lens-facing shooting style felt like it conveyed the character's momentary spirit more straightforwardly. Although the Anime convention was noisy, during that one second in front of the camera, it felt as though the entire world had quieted down.
