[Perona cosplay] One Piece Ghost Princess's Pink Gothic style Night Snapshots

When shooting this Ghost Princess Perona look from One Piece, my main focus was on faithfully recreating the character's costume details and the on-set ambiance. The Pink twin tails paired with the red-and-white striped long-sleeve top look fantastic under specific lighting. To match this outfit, I specifically chose Black and white striped stockings, whose textured fabric creates a strong visual contrast against the red sofa backdrop. A key highlight was the pair of red patent leather boots on my feet; because they reflect light intensely under studio lamps, we had to continuously adjust angles throughout the shoot to avoid harsh glare and overexposure. The mini top hat was hand-adjusted and styled with a white ribbon bow. The layered drink in my hand was a DIY prop; to complement the reddish ambient colors, I purposely chose a green-and-orange palette, which together with the light brown plush bear beside me produced rich, saturated colors across the whole scene. For makeup, I opted for large-diameter contacts and false eyelashes to capture the character's iconic 2D big-eye look. Sitting on the red leather sofa, stretching my legs toward the camera while raising my left hand with open fingers to greet, utilized wide-angle perspective distortion to showcase leg contours alongside stocking and boot details. I communicated frequently with the photographer during the shoot, trying both half-body and full-body compositions—not just displaying the costume directly, but also using props like the plush bear and drink cup as atmospheric accents. Post-processing preserved the natural ambient light, harmonizing the leather sofa's sheen with the glossy texture of the boots. With many intricate costume details such as the ruffled cuffs and boot buckles, careful framing was essential. Although frequent posing adjustments were required, the overall shoot was very efficient; capturing photos that fully convey a character's aura takes thoughtful consideration of visual proportions.
