[Corin cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Victoria Housekeeping Co. Circular Saw Maid — Sharing Convention Photos

The Zenless Zone Zero Corin convention photos from the recent anime con are finally ready! From deciding to cosplay this character to finally bringing it to life, it took about a month of preparation. The art style of Zenless Zone Zero carries a strong sense of street trendiness and heavy industrial flair, especially with characters from Victoria Housekeeping Co. Looking at Corin's outfit purely from 2D character art, you might think it's just a maid outfit with metallic clasps, but once it's tailored and worn, you truly feel the substantial weight of combined leather and fabric.

Starting with the outfit details: the black short-sleeved top is made of matte fabric that is crisp and wrinkle-resistant, featuring slightly puffed shoulders that optimize head-to-shoulder proportions. The white frilly collar paired with a black bow keeps the classic soul of a traditional maid outfit. The outer white apron and the black underskirt peeking from beneath create rich layers. What satisfied me most were the details along the hem—such as rows of metallic rivets and leather straps—which instantly shifted what could have been a cute, soft skirt straight into the realm of hardcore combat.

Next, let's talk about the wig and makeup. The mint-green twin-tail color was quite eye-catching at the convention; the ends were styled with a natural slight curl, and the white ruffled headband at the crown was faithfully recreated 1:1. For makeup, I deepened the eyeshadow blending with subtle purplish-red tones, paired with vibrant contact lenses to give my gaze a sharper, more formidable edge—after all, in Corin's character setting, she may be a maid, but in battle, she is completely ruthless.

Of course, the true highlight of this entire look is the massive circular saw weapon. The scale of this weapon goes far beyond ordinary props; whether held in hand or rested on the ground during the shoot, it commands immense presence. The weapon's body consists of a long handle and base. The circular saw blade features a black base with silver tooth edges, while the most striking part is the bright green mechanical structure on the base with a subtle fluorescent glow. The front gears and bearing details were pieced together and painted part by part. To allow it to stand firmly on the ground, we reinforced the base, which provided great support when holding poses for photos two and three.

For footwear and leg accessories, I chose a pair of chunky black combat boots with high shafts that visually lengthen the calves. A black leather strap was added around the thigh; pairing this strap with the skirt hem and sleek boots delivers a cool and badass impression. Thanks to the thick soles, standing was very stable, making larger, dynamic poses easy to execute.

The shoot went really well on the day, and the photographer was fantastic at capturing the key moments. The pose in photo one—lifting the circular saw with one leg raised—took several attempts to balance; even while holding the weapon, finding my own center of gravity was tricky. Photo three is a seated pose, relatively relaxed, leaning against a stepladder with the saw resting by my feet, which showcases the full outfit setup. I personally love the composition of that seated shot.

Regarding the title, I saw someone joke that it looked like a "Frankenstein Hatsune Miku," which is pretty funny—the green mechanical parts and mint hair certainly invite that comparison! But yes, this is indeed a member of Victoria Housekeeping Co. from Zenless Zone Zero. Merging heavy industrial machinery with a cute maid outfit is what makes this character's design so distinctive. I hope these convention photos let everyone appreciate the fine details of the costume and props.
