[Huohuo cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail: Cosplay event photos Log from the Anime Convention

Putting on this teal-and-green palette dress, the most direct impression was how severely it tested tailored cuts and craftsmanship. The white jacquard-patterned top fits nicely, with gold buttons aligned neatly down the front. To complement the prominent red ribbon and golden bell at the neckline, I intentionally selected a fair foundation and incorporated reddish-pink eyeshadow to add a healthy flush, which, paired with sky-blue contact lenses, harmonized the entire palette. The white ruffled scrunchie on top and the pair of massive teal plush ears on either side carried noticeable weight, requiring numerous hairpins to anchor firmly. To prevent the wig from looking frizzy, I spent considerable time smoothing it with conditioning spray before heading out.

The most eye-catching prop this time was undoubtedly the giant fluffy tail behind me. To make the tail perk up naturally on camera, I added a small internal support armature inside the waistband, layered beneath the tiered skirt hem. The skirt consists of three distinct tiers: the outermost teal scalloped layer bordered with gold piping, the middle white embroidered apron panel, and the innermost navy-blue striped pleated skirt trimmed with white lace. As I walked, the skirt swayed with each step, but to prevent wardrobe slips, I wore dark safety shorts underneath. The detachable sleeves along the arms are deep bluish-green, featuring wide flaring cuffs edged with gold trim and blue ties; the golden armbands on the upper arms were slightly snug, but gripped the sleeves well to prevent slippage. The small blue-and-gold talisman jar hanging at the waist served as a charming accessory, though with the convention crowds, I had to stay mindful while walking to keep it from snagging.

The blue long-handled prop staff was surprisingly lightweight, offering great balance when posing. Upon first arriving at the pavilion, the sheer volume of the wig and tail required me to sidestep frequently to avoid bumping into surrounding attendees. Ambient lighting in the hall was tricky—overhead steel lattice structures and expansive cool-toned lights cast a dimmer ambient illumination. I sought out spots with direct overhead lighting or relied on the photographer's reflector boards to illuminate my face, producing a luminous skin tone while bringing out the tactile texture of the garments.

Standing in the middle of the hall posing under the gaze of numerous camera lenses made me slightly nervous initially. To best showcase the dimensions of the skirt and tail, the photographer advised more turns and slight side-profile angles. Extending the hand holding the orange talisman figure forward, or resting both hands beside my head, brought vivid liveliness to the frame. Sometimes, waiting for a clean background without wandering passersby meant freezing a single posture for several seconds, which genuinely tested core strength. But seeing the results on screen made all the exertion worthwhile in this Huohuo cosplay.

The convention floor was massive, leaving the soles of my feet sore after walking around. While white slouch socks paired nicely with the shoes, their thinness meant that standing and walking for hours really depended on soft-soled shoes for support. I handled all the styling, makeup, and dressing completely on my own for these Cosplay event photos from Honkai: Star Rail. Although tedious, seeing the finished look presented so completely in front of the lens gave me an immense sense of accomplishment as a Sweet girl cosplay presentation.
