Challenging Changli from Wuthering Waves, my core goal was to restore that elegant yet slightly dangerous, otherworldly temperament. In costume selection, I paid close attention to the contrast of the red and white color scheme. Changli's outfit is full of lines reflecting Eastern aesthetics, especially that pop of red, which must have enough tension in the visual center. To better present the character's temperament, I made many detailed adjustments to the makeup and styling, especially the gradient treatment of the hair color, striving to present delicate light and shadow under the lens. During the shoot, the umbrella and long sword, as core props, were placed critically. The red rim design of the umbrella echoes the outfit, not only adding layers to the composition but also bestowing a quiet, Zen-like atmosphere upon the character. Regarding composition and lighting, I communicated with the photography team many times, hoping to use a bright tone to highlight Changli's cold and profound gaze. The texture of the costume shows obvious layers when turned at different angles; whether it's the drape of the ribbons or the texture of the leather, everything strives to restore the delicate texture of the game. Control over every detail is to make this character more vivid in the lens.
