Preparing this Aemeath cosplay costume from Wuthering Waves took quite some time, with the main challenge being the mechanical structure of the breastplate and the splicing of translucent materials. Once put on, the overall weight was heavier than expected, especially the white boots on the legs—because they needed to remain stiff and structured, putting them on, taking them off, and adjusting positioning in the studio took considerable effort. The studio featured a solid blue backdrop; to complement this crisp, cool tone, the makeup emphasized eye details, pairing light-colored contact lenses with a long pink wig to create a striking 2D color contrast. The glowing prop sword was a focal point during the shoot, catching reflections nicely against the blue background. To capture the character's heroic spirit and sense of protection, we tried several poses. In Photo 1, sitting on the prop with a raised hand beautifully highlighted the cinched lines of the bodice and the leg bands. Thanks to the lighting adjustments by photographer @冠位凛厨托比昂, the mecha aesthetic and the texture of the white leather were captured spot on. Although the shoot was physically demanding, seeing the final photos radiate a style that is both cool and gently refined made all the effort worthwhile. When customizing the costume, special attention was paid to this techwear-style silhouette—the primary white tone accented by dark blue and gold trim is exceptionally eye-catching. The poses and gaze were referenced from the character's lore, perfectly complementing the caption 'I will protect you' with a strong sense of reassurance. Physical exertion that day was high due to the weight of the outfit and the hassle of adjusting the chest pieces for a more three-dimensional silhouette. However, judging by the final results, I'm very satisfied with how well the atmosphere came together, presenting a beauty full of power and strength.
