[Sunna Cosplay] One Person Portraying Three Roles: Zenless Zone Zero Sunna, Aria, and Nangong Yu Log Sharing

This time I took on a "big job," completing the styling for three characters from Zenless Zone Zero all at once—what everyone calls playing three roles in one shoot. The preparation required for costumes and wigs was far more than a single-character shoot, but seeing the full assembled final shots brought immense satisfaction.

First, let's talk about Sunna cosplay with mint green hair, whose overall design leans into a bright, lively campus style. The wig featured specific mint green highlights and styled spikes, which paired with distinctive heart, bar, and triangular hair ornaments at the top of her head to create a crisp visual effect. The costume consists of a white shirt layered over a red star tie, complemented by pink-and-white striped arm sleeves and pink striped slouch socks, paired with a black choker to convey a playful and energetic vibe. The kick scooter prop in hand enhanced the overall sporty atmosphere, giving her standing poses a sharp, vibrant style thanks to the prop.

Aria cosplay with pink hair features a more tech-inspired, combat-oriented setting. That signature short pink hair paired with a small streak of cyan-blue highlights is eye-catching, complemented by animal ear headbands adorned with green starburst ornaments that create strong design impact on the top half of her head. The orange cross-patch on the collar serves as the visual focus, while white wing-shaped 3D back accessories pair with a white multi-layered skirt featuring teal-green lace trim to deliver rich layering. In full-body shots, the white platform ankle boots with teal-green decorations on her feet serve as another highlight, beautifully accentuating leg lines. The overall palette features dopamine color-blocking of white, pink, teal-green, and orange, rendering vivid colors on camera.

Finally, the styling for Nangong Yu cosplay with black-and-pink hair seamlessly blends cool boldness with cuteness. The black wig features pink highlights, styled into voluminous outer-curled twintails with pink and cyan-blue bowknots to max out the glamorous feel. The asymmetric outfit design is a major highlight: a pink off-the-shoulder top with black spots and a black cat-face ornament, paired with a large cyan-blue bowknot tie, while the lower body features over-the-knee black socks matched with platform sandals with cyan-blue bows, elongating visual leg proportions. The large black spiked club with yellow star patterns in her hand and the small wings on her back give her a dominating presence while keeping things playful.

Portraying three roles in one shoot really tested time management and detail accuracy during styling transitions. From styling the first mint-green hair look in the morning, to changing into the second pink outfit and tweaking wigs, to finalizing the last black-pink full-body styling and prop preparations, adjusting expressions and body language continuously along the way consumed considerable physical energy. However, studio lighting was spot on, capturing the distinct aesthetic features of all three looks across different backdrops and light setups. Whether it was the light dynamic action of mint green, the sci-fi tech feel of pink, or the high-contrast cool edge of black-pink, the lens preserved that authentic atmosphere.
