[Robin cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail Joy City Convention photos record

The 2D ACG atmosphere at Jing'an Joy City has always been vibrant, and today I brought this Robin cosplay styling here to capture a set of Convention photos. I prepared for this shoot for quite a while, mainly hoping to recreate the character's ethereal and gently opulent charm in real life.

The wig was chosen in a pale blue-purple with soft, airy curls, and the bangs were trimmed into feathered layers. I put considerable effort into the makeup: light blue contact lenses paired with pinkish eyeshadow, a tiny star-shaped sticker accenting beneath the right eye, and a dewy pink tint on the lips. To match her graceful traits, I chose this light purple Lolita-inspired dress. The garment is rich in detail—criss-cross straps and purple rose accents across the bodice, a classic cinched corset waist laced with white ribbons, detached off-the-shoulder sheer tulle sleeves, and a tiered skirt hem lush with lace and ruffles. White feathered wing hairpins adorned my head, while I carried a long-handled white umbrella alongside a matching purple shoulder bag, completed with silver glitter high heels.

The corridors of Joy City offered a wonderful backdrop—clean and minimalist, with white walls and polished floor tiles highlighting the delicate colors of the outfit. Since ambient lighting was relatively flat and even, the photographer took extra care with lighting, using cool-toned fill light to sculpt a dreamy atmosphere. During the shoot, I explored diverse poses: lifting the hem of the skirt to let its ruffled tiers flare out, holding the parasol open with one hand, or keeping it closed at my side. To showcase full-body proportions and the sparkling shoes, several standing poses were captured, requiring a poised, upright back to flatter the lines of the legs. Lifting one leg slightly was somewhat tricky to balance in heels, but the resulting dynamic was brimming with energy. The entire shoot went smoothly, continuously discussing poses with the photographer while refining micro-expressions.

Every cosplay feels like stepping into another life for a brief moment. As a dimensional traveler moving through the shopping mall, though catching the curious eyes of passersby, stepping before the lens instantly locked me into character. This set documents my 2D life archive, and I deeply enjoyed every step from styling to shooting. Now that these Convention photos are organized, I will cherish them dearly.
