[Ajitani Hifumi cosplay] Outdoor Sunny Moments with Peroro in Blue Archive

Let's record this set of Ajitani Hifumi photos shot during the convention period. Actually, I've cosplayed this character quite a few times, but every time I put on this yellow and white plaid dress again, it brings out subtle changes in the experience.

Let's first talk about the styling preparations. For the wig this time, I chose a softer light blonde color, slightly trimming the bangs and the sideburns on both sides, hoping to get closer to Hifumi's natural cuteness. The yellow halo on top of my head is one of the key points of the styling. When securing it, attention needs to be paid to the angle and breathability to avoid discomfort during long outdoor shoots. Fortunately, lightweight materials were used, making it quite easy to wear. The black and white bow tie hair accessories on both cheeks form a contrast with the overall tone of the dress, making the entire head structure look richer.

The main body of this outfit is a yellow and white plaid camisole dress. The plaid density is moderate without looking overly flashy, and the lace trimming on the hemline is an excellent detail, adding some soft, delicate layers to the entire dress. The paired white platform sandals not only match the character's temperament but also allowed me to walk more steadily on the park's stone paths. Throw in the yellow scrunchie on the wrist and that indispensable Peroro plush toy, and the completion of the overall styling was basically in place.

The weather in Guangzhou on the shooting day was very sultry. Choosing to shoot on the pathway of an outdoor park had the benefit of ample natural light. The photographer 'Orange Peel' is great at capturing high-key frames under natural light. Sunlight pierced through the leaves and hit the skirt hem, which, combined with the camera's highlight bloom effect, unexpectedly created a highly dreamlike and clear visual tone. With the greenery and ferns on both sides of the pathway as the background, that refreshing green complemented the yellow and white plaid, giving off a lazy yet energetic summer afternoon vibe.

For the posing, I tried my best to present the character's lighthearted and lively texture. For instance, the standing pose with one leg slightly lifted while turning around to look back, the expression of squatting down with my hand resting slightly on my chin, or even holding Peroro over my head as a small accessory. These casual postures actually required repeated angle adjustments in front of the lens to find the most natural state, especially to avoid the shift in visual center of gravity caused by the platform shoes. The resulting photos turned out quite satisfying.

As for what this cosplay wants to express, it actually happens to echo my daily understanding of Hifumi. She isn't the kind of main character radiating brilliant light, nor does she possess the strongest combat power. She always brings Peroro along, facing everything with her own somewhat ordinary yet highly sincere feelings. Just like this shoot, there were no grand sets, only simple stone paths, bushes, and sunlight. But it is precisely this everyday feel that allows the character to showcase her unique approachability. Sometimes, putting your mind into the simplest things and accepting one's own ordinariness is a form of growth in itself.

Although it was an outdoor cosplay shoot during a Guangzhou Anime Convention, compared to studio photography, this feeling of strolling through outdoor sunlight and lawns fits the character's usual state much better. Not only can it restore the actual colors of the costume under natural light, but it also captures more authentic emotional reactions. Finishing this brief cosplay record, I felt a little reluctant when changing out of the costume, but it was mostly a sense of fulfillment. Being able to interpret her cuteness in my own way is a very joyful thing.
