The dedication to detail is immense, and I look forward to future outings.", "text_content_en": "This Lartoria dress, crafted by my roommate, went through numerous adjustments from design to final completion. The fabrics used are a drape-heavy white satin and tulle, tailored into a fishtail silhouette. The golden ties at the waist and the golden patterns on the chest are all handmade embroidery and appliqués. Paired with a silver crown and a white veil, the entire look creates the effect of a truly gorgeous gown.

For the shoot, white lace curtains and a plush rug were set up indoors as the backdrop. The cool-toned lighting perfectly highlights the delicate sheen of the fabric. Because the dress has multiple layered skirts, it carries some weight and feels slightly restrictive when walking, which helps preserve the structured silhouette of the garment itself. The white long gloves, paired with metal arm guards, flatter the arm lines nicely, while the white fur shawl over the shoulders creates a striking contrast between cool and warm textures.

Attention to detail is evident throughout, such as the ruffled hem, which my roommate gathered by hand according to the fabric grain to ensure the skirt's layered effect stands out distinctly during indoor movement. The veil drops perfectly to the back, complementing the overall styling without dragging on the floor. The crown and necklace accessories were also chosen carefully to resonate with the gold-thread elements of the attire.

For this type of cosplay, structural tailoring largely defines the visual impact of the photos. The cross-wrap design at the waist visually elongates body proportions and prevents any bulky appearance on camera. Since full-length leg shots were omitted, conveying the character's persona relied heavily on the waistline and an elegant standing posture. Capturing a white gown often requires avoiding harsh direct light in favor of soft diffuse lighting to reveal textile layers, so the gentler lighting setup suited the costume's inherent aura exceptionally well.

Shooting in a homemade cosplay costume brings a uniquely fulfilling experience. During preparation, my roommate spent considerable time refining the golden accents—especially the shield-like ornament on the chest, which underwent multiple position adjustments to achieve a tailored fit. Finding the right posture during the fitting proved crucial, as a fishtail gown naturally tightens around the body. The entire photoshoot went smoothly, and wearing this piece felt like bringing a meticulously planned personal project to life. It serves as a truly special sharing experience for anyone who appreciates the finer details of an elaborate gown.
