[Altria Caster cosplay] Bring Castoria along to easily clear Fate/Grand Order challenge quests

I recently cosplayed this Altria Caster look—soloing high-difficulty challenge quests in Fate/Grand Order felt like a grind, so I simply went with a Castoria look to shoot some proper photos at the convention. This shoot was done in collaboration with photographer @Guohe, who contributed many great ideas on visual storytelling. We initially planned to capture a cool, crisp military vibe, but once I put on the outfit, it felt far heavier than expected. The polearm weapon in particular had an intricate design with elaborate hollowed-out details on top for maximum accuracy, making it quite heavy to hold; maintaining balance during posing was quite demanding, as I had to ensure the weapon didn't tilt. The coat featured a white double-breasted design paired with a black belt, tailored from custom fabrics to match the character's design. The purple section at the collar had a refined texture, while the red cape at the back was difficult to control during movement, so we chose a low-angle upward perspective that, combined with the blue lighting effects added in post-production, brought out a dynamic sense of motion. To highlight full leg lines and the black stockings cosplay, we deliberately adjusted the poses; the second full-body photo was chosen as the cover because it flattered the legs nicely and had an open, graceful stance. We also took several close-ups during the shoot, but because this full-body shot had a more complete composition and natural-looking blue glow effects, it became our top choice. The whole shooting process was a blast—chatting about the game and skill mechanics, hours flew by in no time. From a professional standpoint, the tailoring of this outfit is quite demanding on body proportions, but fortunately, the retoucher's skill with light and shadow ensured smooth transitions between highlights and shadows, giving the face a more sculpted look while capturing that cool Anime cosplay aura. For the stockings, I specifically chose matte black stockings, which blend into the scene much better than shiny ones without creating distracting glares, making the legs look longer and more natural. This military-inspired uniform style paired with combat props works great for convention photography and yields a high rate of amazing photos.
