This photoshoot was chosen to be in a yard full of hydrangeas. It is the Endless Summer in full bloom, and the interwoven sea of blue, purple, pink, and white flowers matches Everson's temperament surprisingly well. The wig features long silver-blue braids, and I specially chose a lightweight white lace slip dress, paired with a matching choker and lace sleeves, going for an overall refreshing elf style. The makeup emphasizes purple pupils and pointed ears. Combined with props like an apple and a magic book, it gives the frame a greater sense of narrative.

The sunlight was wonderful during the shoot, casting mottled light and shadow on the bamboo couch, so the post-processing didn't use excessive color grading, preserving the translucent quality of the original photos. Since the costume has many tulle and lace details, I paid special attention to the movement of the skirt hem and the folds during the shoot to avoid appearing bloated. The challenge with this character lies in grasping the facial expressions—it needs to be both gentle and a bit playful, so I tried many angles in front of the lens. Ultimately, I chose this shot of looking back while holding an apple as the main cover photo, as both the gaze and body language look more natural.

Actually, the most enjoyable part of Anime cosplay is the process of recreating the character's atmosphere; from styling the hair to matching the accessories, I hope every tiny detail stays close to the original work. The photographer is very skilled at capturing dynamic movements, and the placement of the book and apple was adjusted several times. I'm quite satisfied with the final result of this Hydrangea photography session. The color tone of this set of photos leans warm, blending just right with the colors of the hydrangeas. Although the entire process was hard work, seeing these frames makes it feel all worthwhile.
