I actually prepared for a quite long time for this Swimsuit Eresh shoot. The blue and white color scheme of the swimsuit and the ruffle details at the waist look great under the sunlight, and the red and blue bows on the head along with the blonde twin tails are truly the soul of this character. In terms of props, I am quite satisfied with the restoration of the golden crest spear (though modified into a lightweight version more suitable for the beach) and the blue water effects.

The shooting location was chosen at the rocky beach after low tide. We shot from morning until afternoon, and the light and shadow at different times gave the sea surface and rocks a rich sense of layers. The perspective of sitting on a large rock in the photo beautifully presents the props and the overall styling, while the few shots standing in the waves, with hair strands lifted by the wind, perfectly match the character's lively yet slightly tsundere vibe.

To capture the dynamic movement of the skirt hem and hair strands during the shoot, the photographer took quite a few snapshots, and the final results turned out more natural than expected. I didn't apply heavy makeup for this look, wanting more to highlight the character's refreshing feel, with the eye makeup slightly incorporating a touch of red to echo the headwear. Honestly, the biggest headache for outdoor shooting is sun protection and touch-ups, but seeing the final photos makes everything worth it. Every cosplay set is an expression of my understanding of the character, and this beach location shoot can be considered as keeping summer forever in the frame for this Casual cosplay post.
