Bringing this Zenless Zone Zero Ellen Joe cosplay to life was a concept the styling team and I polished for quite some time. For the wardrobe, we selected a glossy black PVC form-fitting bodysuit; this material casts an intensely sharp reflective sheen under the strobes, though wearing it proved exceptionally sweltering, requiring non-stop makeup touch-ups and costume resets between takes. The wig featured a gradient dip-dye transitioning from black in the front to vivid red in the back, paired with crimson contact lenses and red-toned eye makeup to capture that signature aura of dangerous, languid nonchalance.

In terms of props, the lollipop was the true soul of the set. Prior to shooting, I coordinated with the photographer to guide the viewer's eye through how I held the candy—whether pressing it lightly against my lips with one hand or holding it casually aloft to break the rigidity of different seated poses. The sequences captured across the vintage leather sofa focused heavily on emphasizing bodily curves and leg lines. To maximize the aesthetic appeal for Stockings leg fetish framing, I experimented with numerous crossed-leg angles and pointed toes while keeping my torso gracefully upright. The bar counter area proved even more challenging: clambering up and down the stools while ensuring the delicate stockings didn't snag, all while keeping facial expressions composed, was quite an exercise. The photographer invested immense care into the lighting, utilizing warm-toned rim-and-kick lights to chisel the glossy edges of the vinyl suit while keeping fine textural details legible within the shadowed stockings.

Staging this shoot in a timber-crafted bar was a seamless match; the staggered liquor bottles and the vintage sailing ship model in the background provided rich environmental storytelling. Throughout the session, I continuously reminded myself to calibrate my facial expressions—never relaxing too completely, but always maintaining a guarded, slightly aloof scrutiny. While the entire shoot was exhausting, seeing the flawless harmony of lighting, textural contrasts, and character presence across the monitor made every effort deeply rewarding. The black-and-red palette truly commands the frame in low-key, moody lighting.
