[Elysia Cosplay] Honkai Impact 3rd: Elysia Moonlit Grace Skin Convention Shoot Record

For this convention, I cosplayed the Elysia Moonlit Grace Skin from Honkai Impact 3rd. The overall costume features exceptionally rich layering: the base layer is a pink bandeau design adorned with a white pom-pom accent at the chest. The outer layer is a white wide-sleeved robe-jacket with gold piping and geometric patterns. The waistline is packed with details—the wide red sash is hung with a ring of metallic loops, bronze pendants, and red-gold tassels that clatter softly with every step. The skirt is crafted from tiered, gradient white-to-pink tulle embellished with gold floral embroidery. To match the lunar theme, a moon-shaped metallic ornament also hangs along the side of the skirt.

The wig was a major focal point of this look: long hair transitioning from pink to light blonde, styled into two symmetrical looped buns atop the head. The hair ornaments utilized numerous metallic branches, leaves, and white pom-poms, which paired with elf ears to frame and flatter the face beautifully. For makeup, blue contact lenses paired with reddish eyeshadow and blush helped focus and capture catchlights in the eyes effortlessly. Because the overhead lighting in the exhibition hall was somewhat harsh and messy, I specifically asked the photographer to scout side-backlight angles, which brought out the delicate texture of the sheer tulle jacket while infusing the edges of the hair strands with a luminous, translucent glow.

Regarding props, the large golden fan prop held in hand carried noticeable weight; the fan surface is made of translucent material, while the handle features intricate openwork carvings. Because of the fan's sheer size, posing required conscious wrist control—otherwise, it easily blocked light from reaching the face or made arm postures appear stiff. The gold bangle on the other wrist coordinated harmoniously with the necklace and earrings at the neck.

The post-production special effects for these Cosplay event photos were crafted to complement the ambiance of this styling. The floating luminous golden rabbit holding a lantern, swirling light lines, and fluttering flower petals were added in post. During live shooting in the hall, the background was quite cluttered and the crowd crowded, so capturing clean poses required precise shutter timing. This styling has a high degree of opulence; from initial fittings to live shooting, I adjusted the garment's fit multiple times. With limited lighting conditions at the convention, producing these satisfying Cosplay event photos made thorough prep work and active on-site lighting coordination absolutely essential.
