[Elysia Cosplay] Honkai Impact 3rd Moonlit Grace Skin Shoot Record

The Elysia Moonlit Grace Skin really has an incredible amount of design details. Starting with the wig, to achieve that dreamy pink gradient effect, silver and white hair fibers were blended into the strands. Securing the two large loop hair buns on top took quite a while, requiring plenty of hairspray for hold, along with gold hair accessories and white fuzzy pom-poms. To stay true to the character's concept, I specially wore long, pointed elf ears; selecting the base makeup and purple contact lenses also took a lot of time. The eye makeup was kept as clean and translucent as possible, layered with fine pink shimmer to echo the overall palette. The outfit has more layers than expected—the short white capelet features heart-shaped cutouts and gold trim, the inner pink corset has a white plush ball hanging at the center, and the red waist sash is layered with cascading gold tassels. The high-slit design of the skirt is paired with sheer lace-patterned leg sleeves resembling Stockings, while the gold straps along the calves and clear high heels not only elongate visual proportions, but also added quite a bit of difficulty when posing seated or standing, demanding constant awareness of the skirt's drape and leg lines. The gold fan prop in hand has polished edges, and the attached small lantern and little bunny charm were custom-made by a prop master, boasting exquisite detail. The studio setup fit the theme of blooming flowers and a full moon, with wooden lattice screens in the background paired with pink veils and faux blossom branches, creating a rich atmosphere under warm lighting. During the shoot, to capture the character's airy yet divine demeanor, I repeatedly adjusted movement range and eye focus—especially the hand poses holding the fan—aiming to give every shot dimensional visual depth. Because the outfit is fairly complex and the clear shoes have heels, moving around required great caution and careful balance whenever changing spots or shifting poses. To catch the optimal light and shadow in the studio, we experimented with several lighting setups, finally settling on a warm key light complemented by side rim lighting to carve out contours, which gave the pink wig a luminous sheen on camera. Hand details could not be overlooked either; since I wore pink press-on nails matching the overall palette, I deliberately arched my fingers slightly while holding the fan to elevate the elegance of the shot. There were certainly moments of fatigue mid-shoot—after all, the outfit and headpiece were quite heavy—but seeing the pink glow come alive on camera instantly revived my energy. Additionally, the wig's sideburns were lengthened, requiring numerous bobby pins to secure and frame the face to match the character's vibe; taking them off was a bit tedious, but essential for complete styling. Bringing this look from concept to final photos took nearly a month, and bringing this cherished image to life through cosplay made all the prep work deeply rewarding.
