[Elysia Cosplay] Honkai Impact 3rd 10th Anniversary: Miss Pink Elf Styling Log

For this Honkai Impact 3rd 10th Anniversary event, I prepared this Elysia Cosplay ensemble. From the custom-tailored outfit by KAKACODE to the handcrafted styling details, I was thoroughly satisfied with how the final look came together.

Let's start with the hair and makeup. To capture the character's radiant, vivacious presence, I selected icy blue contact lenses. For the eyes, I steered clear of overly dense shadows, relying primarily on crisp eyeliner and fluttery lashes to enlarge the eyes, while sweeping a generous wash of soft pink blush beneath the eyes and across the tip of the nose. Paired with a dewy, glossy lip tint, this imbued the entire face with a youthful, delicate charm. The wig was a pink bob cut; I carefully trimmed the bangs to establish natural, soft layering, complemented by dainty hairpins adorned with white floral motifs and rhinestone crystals. The elf ears (Elf ears cosplay) were the absolute soul of this look—prior to securing them, seamlessly blending their edges with derma wax or concealer into my natural ears was essential, or the seams would easily give away the illusion on camera.

Wardrobe-wise, the inner layer consisted of a cross-collar sheer tulle top embroidered with delicate pink lace, draped beneath an off-white long-sleeved cardigan. To enrich visual dimension, I accented the look with a golden rose pendant necklace and matching rings. The purple crystalline flower prop in my hand was specially prepared to resonate with the convention's festive atmosphere.

This photo series was captured across diverse settings. For the two convention floor shots against plain white walls and event banners, I relied on interacting with props and varying my physical poses to inject vitality into the frame. While transitioning in the car, the natural sunlight was sublime, so I snapped several selfies on the fly. Sunlight angled softly across my face from the side-front, and the subtle contrast between the blush lace and skin tones yielded exquisite texture.

As a seasoned cosplayer, I often notice newcomers struggling with pink-themed characters, inadvertently making the makeup appear muddied. The secret lies in a pristine, translucent base and tonal harmony—ensuring blush and lip tints share the same color family, strictly avoiding clashing red lips with soft baby-pink blush. Additionally, the synthetic sheen of the wig dictates photo quality; lightly dusting loose powder across the fibers prior to shooting effectively eliminates unwanted plastic glare.

Looking back on this Honkai Impact 3rd 10th Anniversary shoot—from early costume selection and makeup trials to pacing across the convention halls—the entire process was demanding, yet seeing the finished cuts made every bit of effort worthwhile. Elysia's blend of sweetness and regal elegance demands close synergy between gaze and posture. Lightly tucking the chin, meeting the lens with a direct, warm gaze, and resting hands gently against the collarbone or chest naturally highlights the styling intricacies. The craftsmanship of the outfit was stunning, with lace hems and embroidery gleaming under convention hall lighting.
