The stars and moon fall, weaving tender words. This time, I chose Elysia's Realm of Memory outfit, an exquisite black formal dress as the primary color tone. Before shooting, I repeatedly studied the design details, striving to stay close to the original work's temperament—from the fluffy curve of the light pink short hair to the metallic texture of the star-shaped decoration on the chest. The tailoring of this outfit heavily tests one's body shape. The deep V-neck design paired with golden piping gives the overall visual a profound sense of mystery without losing a young girl's lightness. The lace cuffs of the black sheer gloves are the finishing touch, appearing exceptionally translucent under the light. To recreate that lazy fairy-tale atmosphere, I intentionally adjusted my lying posture during the shoot, utilizing the natural folds of the dark velvet background cloth to create a low-key space. The angle of the light is critical, requiring a soft overhead light to strike the face and collarbone area while preserving the layering in the dark sections of the fabric. The makeup for the blue eyes used a warm pinkish-purple eyeshadow palette, creating a coordinated echo with the pink hair. The pinkish-purple flower ornament at the waist was handmade; paired with dark leaves, it beautifully balanced the large dark area of the black dress. The entire shooting process was actually not easy. To find the most natural side-lying angle, I repeatedly adjusted the placement of my arms and legs, especially at the junction between the black over-the-knee thigh-high socks and the skirt hem, to avoid creating harsh folds. During post-processing, I mainly removed some ambient stray light but retained the real texture of the skin and the graininess of the material, refraining from excessive airbrushing to avoid losing the texture of the clothes. The concept of the Realm of Memory holds a kind of drifting sensation between reality and dreams, so the final photos did not deliberately pursue high-saturated colors but lowered the contrast instead, letting the pink and blue look softer amidst the surrounding dark colors. This look has high requirements for details; from the fine chains on the shoulder straps to the stitching on the edges, every single place is worth zooming in to see. Although it is cosplay, I also wanted to try my best to convey that emotion of coexistence between tenderness and aloofness inherent to the character. During the shoot, to stabilize my body's center of gravity, my waist and abdomen were actually squeezed very tight, yet the photos needed to look completely relaxed—this is precisely the difficulty of the so-called 'sense of relaxation' in atmospheric photography. However, seeing the final results, all those adjustments were completely worth it. I hope to preserve this tenderness belonging to Elysia through visuals like these.
