[Seele cosplay] Honkai Impact 3rd Summer Snow Lily of the Valley, Early Summer Hydrangea Sea

Shooting this Honkai Impact 3rd Seele cosplay set in her Summer Snow Lily of the Valley look among the early summer Hydrangea bushes turned out to be a better match for the character's refreshing temperament than expected. The design details of this costume are exceptionally rich; the white off-the-shoulder dress paired with detached lightweight tulle sleeves is both breathable for summer and perfectly matches the character's agile, ethereal vibe. The wig's layers were specifically adjusted with a blue-purple base, while the bright yellow highlights on both sides and the white sailor hat on top complement each other. The blue bow on the brim and the black leather belt at the waist make the overall look even more exquisite. To add liveliness to the frame, I intentionally brought along that small yellow creature plushie during the shoot. Holding it while walking through the flowers or placing it on the mossy stone steps adds a touch of playfulness to the quiet composition. The blue butterfly prop was also a finishing touch; lifting it under the dappled tree shadows makes it feel as though I am completely integrated with the blooming blue and white Hydrangeas around me.

The shooting scene was chosen in a park featuring a wooden boardwalk, white iron fences, and lush greenery. Sunlight streamed through the gaps in the leaves, diffusely reflecting off the surface of the white dress to form a very natural and soft texture. I really love the perspective of looking back while standing on the wooden bridge, where the sense of depth beautifully interplays with the surrounding bamboo shadows. Sitting on the time-worn stone steps, casually resting my chin on my hand or turning sideways to look back, also creates a wonderful interaction with the environment.

Although outdoor photography requires considering factors like lighting and bugs, seeing the Hydrangeas swaying in the wind and echoing the white dress in the final photos beautifully freezes that sense of summer healing. Utilizing a wide aperture during the shoot to create soft blur between the background flowers and the foreground beautifully highlights the subject, drawing a refreshing conclusion to the recreation of this Summer Snow Lily of the Valley Cosplay photoshoot.
