[Amiya cosplay] Demon King Amiya of Unrealized Realities: Dark Atmosphere Stock Photos

This set of Amiya cosplay photos in her Demon King Amiya form from Unrealized Realities is a backlog from a previous shoot, now organized to share the shooting process with everyone. Let's start with costume and prop preparations: the horns in the headpiece and the fuzzy ear ornaments had to be firmly fixed with hairspray to maintain center of gravity and balance when standing, otherwise they could easily tilt. The black markings on my arms required patience to apply, with care taken to avoid noticeable glare during the shoot. The glowing orb prop in my hand was custom-made with an internal light source, acting as practical fill light in dim settings to illuminate my hands and chest nicely.

The first photo with the backlit circular backdrop was intended to express a cold, aloof, and silent mood. The face remains in shadow while rim lighting outlines the silhouette, making the layers of the white tulle dress even more distinct. The second photo switches styles completely, featuring massive red geometric light blocks in the background—red light filters through the white sheer dress onto the legs, creating extreme light-and-shadow contrast. This angle better displays the sheer translucency of the skirt hem and overall visual impact.

During shooting, finding the right positions for the red light source and the glowing orb required repeated adjustments to my footing and sightlines. While this styling with spiky elements and black ink-wash textures looks visually aggressive, the fabric itself was very lightweight; however, the long train made walking slightly cumbersome, requiring careful control over movement range. Post-processing avoided over-sharpening to preserve the shadow gradation of the raw shots, hoping to faithfully convey the unique aura of the original design in Arknights.
