[Amiya cosplay] Among Multitudes of Universes, Grasping This Black Longsword Firmly

Among multitudes of universes, preparing this gear from initial planning to realization took considerable effort, and today I can finally share these official photoshoot photos of Amiya cosplay from Arknights with everyone.

When receiving this outfit, my first reaction was that it carried far more weight than imagined. The upper body features an intricate white ruffled shirt paired with a black bow and a blue star emblem; those heavily layered collars and cuffs required immense patience to arrange, as every arm raise or body twist alters garment textures. Hand guards and shoulder armor sections exhibit a hardcore design—these dark grey mecha elements form a striking material contrast against soft white fabrics, feeling slightly heavy when worn yet instantly bringing out the character's battle aura.

The black greatsword paired this time is one of my favorite props; the hilt and crossguard feature sharp serrated designs, with its black lacquer coating casting delicate reflections under lighting. Holding this sword allowed me to naturally embody a steady yet decisive state of mind. During shooting, I experimented with various poses—sometimes sitting with the longsword resting before me to feel power in quietude, other times standing with both hands lifting the sword high while slightly twisting my waist to showcase the garment's dynamic beauty as much as possible.

Regarding makeup, light blue contact lenses were chosen to highlight character traits, paired with clean foundation and soft eyeshadow rather than heavy lines, striving to emphasize a cool yet steadfast quality. My hair was straight dark brown, topped with that fluffy long pair of Bunny ears and unique dark mecha hair accessories, giving the entire look rich layering. In fact, before the shoot, I tested connections between fluffy ears and rigid hair ornaments several times so they would fit naturally without looking jarring.

The entire studio was decorated as a white-and-blue dream garden, featuring white Roman pillars, billowing sheer drapes, and scattered blue flower bouquets. Lighting was soft and cool-toned, perfectly matching this outfit's cool demeanor. Shooting for a full day severely tested physical stamina—given the voluminous skirt and armor pieces, adjusting each pose required significant tweaking time, though the photographer was exceptionally patient in finding angles for me. The most interesting part was the contrast between holding a sword versus a bouquet: wielding the sword made me feel battle-ready at any second, whereas switching to white flower bouquets softened the overall atmosphere into a quiet, elegant grace.

Although wearing this gear felt stuffy and moving props required heavy effort, seeing the final photo results made every hardship feel completely worth it. From garment details to prop restoration, from makeup foundation to studio lighting, everyone's efforts condensed into concrete beauty on screen. I hope this 2D cosplay work allows everyone to feel the softness and resilience coexisting within this character.
